check out this diet please, trying to cut

630am 4 boiled egg whites

1030am whey pro protien shake with 12oz water, 4oz 2%milk

1230pm chinese usually, vegetables/orange chicken, steam rice,water

330pm 2slices of lean peppered ham, or yogurt

workout/cardio

after workout another shake

630-730pm usually grilled salmon, or chicken with steamed vegetables,broccoli,squash,zuccini

dont know my bodyfat, 5,11 180 havnt tried cutting before how long does this take?
 
What time do you go to bed? You have an almost 12 hour gap where you're not eating. That's not good.


And I only see about 75 grams of carbs in there. You are starving yourself. You can't possibly be expected to train and save muscle eating 75 grams of carbs a day at 180 lbs. Your body will eat away at itself within a month.

Up the carbs to at least 150 grams and make sure you're getting at least 1-1.5 grams protein/lb. body weight.

Are you sure your recomendations are suffecient for someone above 5'4"?? I mean I know they might work for you, but how about for a person whos not vertically impaired? :flipoffha
 
yes i agree...up the carbs a bit. the idea is to have sufficient carbs to start with then every few weeks slowly remove them. u dont want to be in a slump 3 weeks into it
 
like it or not i think phenix is right ive seen bad muscle decreases but i geuss you live and learn
