Everclear is Ethyl alcohol used for drinking, and not at all the same as Benzyl Alchohol, which is a preservative. I would be really weary of using it as a substitute. I would try my hardest to get BA if I were you.

I think a small quantity of Ethyl alcohol is best replacement of Benzyl Alcohol. It may be used to keep your muscles healthy. But take it in a fix limit.
