chicken legs

i got what you call chicken legs, it sucks cause i been working them real hard and i dont neglect them at all. I am embarased to wear shorts, cuase i am pretty big up top and it doesn match up with mylegs.


I really dont know what to do other than just work hard and eat hard and be patient.

I mean i may get ragged on by certain people cause i look disproportionate, but its not like i dont work my legs cause i do work them really hard and i always bust my ass in the gym.

I am currenty 180lbs I hope by march i will be able to wear shorts and not feel like everyone is looking at me and being like look at those sticks for legs.

It honestly gets so discouringing that i dont really have big legs, but i am going to just stick it out and mabey one day i will be content.(i am convinced that chicken legs cannot be overcome, but i am going to try and beat that)

Untill then its eating and squating.

If anyone has suggestinos or knows someone that is in my situation and got past it please tell me what the leg routine was.

oh yeah needsize.... THe routine is going really well i love this new 5x5 routine :-)
 
maybe the 5x5 aint for your legs. if they aint growing try something else. some guys respond differntly to differnt rep ranges on leg work. i would suggest trying this to see if you casn start new growth. and obviously getting stronger is paramount.

do heavy ass squats! If you are already doing squats, perhaps its your form thats restricting you. Make sure you get rid of your ego and start light, and go ass to the floor...

That's right form is everything when it comes to squats, once you get the right form down then you should be able to go progressively heavier while keeping good form. Squats are hard when they are done correctly, and hard work is the only way to big legs.
