Tried sending you a private message but I don't think it went through and then I figured other people might benefit from this post.

Me: 36 Male. 205lb. 20% bf. Exercise 3x-4x week and good nutrition.

I have original labwork indicating low T (think it was about 240) from 5 months ago.

Still low libido and high body fat and now extra acne after 5 months of Test Cyp .5 cc per week.

Getting physical done tomorrow. They said they were going to probe me.....:shoot2:

Had new lab work done yesterday at free clinic we have at work except for SHBG.

Couldn't get my doctor to agree to have bloodwork drawn for that test.... anyways if I could get some sort of paperwork from someone (i.e. your company) that would allow that final test to be done I will send you the results and begin what I hope will be a very long and mutually beneficial relationship.

Last question. Do I need to get off my curent dose of Test Cyp for the SHBG test to be successful and if not does it matter if I have the blood work drawn right after I take my weekly dose or just before?

I am interested in Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and whatever else will make me look more like you and less like me but $ is a factor. :dance2:

Good job picking Chip he will take care of you...

As far as loosing weight the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) will help some but the only thing that is REALLY gonna do that is calorie counting and running a calorie shortage.

I have pretty low total test(256)(1.6 free test). I have been running a pretty strict diet and exercise regimen for months, and I haven't lost an ounce. This same regimen pealed weight off of me in the past.

"pretty strict diet" is never enough. You have to calorie count and macro count (fat/carbs/prot) each meal, weigh food etc Etc... The slower your metabolism the less cals you'll be able to eat and the harder it will be/longer I will take. If your doing that I'd have your t3 an t4 checked.

It probably took you 5 yrs to gain it it might take 1/2 that to loose it all.

I lost 30lb of fat the last 3 years or so with a total t of under ~200. Cal counting and marco counting and lifting heavy.

Look at my avi, I'm pretty lean. 4 years ago I was 155lb with a 42-43" waist (some
Of that muscle I've been lifting on/off for years). I only just started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) this year (1 month now) with chip and have been low T for YEARS. I'm now down (took 3 years) to 233lb and a 36" waist and more muscular then I've ever been. I did recently (2 weeks ago) start "cheating" to get the ab all the way clear cut though lol (clen) but I waited until I was pretty lean. I have also used oral and legal aas in the past to bulk but nothing recently.

BTW: after 3 years I'm pretty sick of zero drinking, zero eating out, zero simple carbs. I eat raw cooked oats, lean beef, lean chicken, fish, organic long grain brown rice and veggies. That's it. Ever.

"Pretty strict diet is never enough?" I backed up that it is because I have cut with this same diet several times with great success.

I did not gain my weight in years. I gained the weight in the course of a few months. As far as dieting is concerned, I have been using fitday, and keeping up with my macros since 2003. My meals are planned, and I basically eat the same thing every day.

I'm down to eating lean meats, low gi veggies, oats, and protein shakes.

I am on Synthroid, but as I have been told my test/ estro levels are hurting my fat loss.
I have even used my old staples of cutting my carbs while using hiit 3 times a week, and other than weak, tired, overtrained and dehydrated accomplished nothing. I have never been so frustrated!

Have you talked to chip? He would probably be able to set you up with a great Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) program.

You are right I do feel like the good test levels will help with the weight loss when combined with a real diet/workout program.
Sorry didn't mean to offend, most people that say they diet "pretty clean" don't know what the hell they are doing, but if your macro and cal counting and know your bodys cal tolerance your doing it right.

Have you had the t3/t4 levels rechecked (I'm sure you have) recently maybe the synthirod isnt at a high enough dose.

Good luck bro, you should give Chip a call. Started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) myself pretty recently and starting to feel great (has kicks in).

Not offened at all. Just giving my feedback. At times I just come off as tactless. No harm intended.

I spoke to Chip, and signed up this past Tuesday. I'm justing waiting on my package to arrive!
