I am currently taking 200mg test cyp per week, in addition to taking .25mg anastrozole if needed once per week. This routine puts my testosterone and E2 in good ranges.
My labs from my last bloodwork:
Test: 703 (Range 264-914 ng/dl)
Estradiol: 22 (Range 7.6-46 pg/ml)
Estrone: 34 (Range 12-72 pg/ml)
These are typical numbers that I get during bloodwork while using test cyp & anastrozole. This routine works well in that it gives me everything I need to function (energy, appetite, cognition, etc.). The two major issues I am still having are with a lackluster/inconsistent sex drive and testicular atrophy.
I used to take HCG as apart of my TRT (500iu once per week) which fixed those last two issues pretty well, but I've developed some sort of nasty resistance to HCG. It no longer provides relief of testicular atrophy nor does anything for my sex drive. Plus, with this resistance came awful side effects I hadn't experienced before, which were major water retention/bloat and weight gain.
With HCG no longer an option I've struggled to combat these last two problems I'm having. I take cialis daily (5mg) and have viagra on hand for when needed, but sometimes those don't even work as well as intended. The testicular atrophy really sucks as well.
I have clomid on hand (50mg pills) that I am looking to add to my routine to combat these problems. I am trying to do some research to see when the best dosing times would be and how I can avoid any similar side effects that I have with HCG. I'm aware clomid is not the ideal choice to combat testicular atrophy & sex drive issues, but with HCG no longer being an option I'm left with little choice.
Does anyone have any advice on the best way to incorporate clomid into a TRT routine?
