confused....need proper termanology

Have a stupid ?. I always thought u called these reverse flies (where u bend over, bend your knees slightly, take a pair of dumbells and raise them up) works the rear delts. Someone just informed me that they r called side laterals. I always thought side laterals were should raises except out to the sides. who's right on this???
 
Bent over side laterals, or you can call them reverse flies, which ever you prefer. Lateral simply refers to motions in biomechanics that go away from the body's midline.
 
i love pull aparts with bands for rear delts and upper back. :D

face pulls is another spanker of the rear delts.
