Considering a restart after on TRT

I've been taking TRT for over a year now, and its getting expensive, my insurance won't cover it and I'm paying out of pocket for all costs + labs + dr visits etc.

I was considering just trying a restart? any suggestions?

Do you use Prices, Coupons and Information - GoodRx for you prescriptions and Buy Lab Tests Online | Private MD Labs for you blood work? Throw in one, maybe two, doctor visits a year and TRT is pretty cheap.

It costs me about $200 a month not including dr visits, labs etc. I normally do use coupons for labs

Do you have to pay to go in and get your injections? Testosterone itself is around 15-30 dollars a month from the pharmacy, so I don't know how you're spending so much. I have seen many try restarts; and out of all of them, only one was able to see long-term success.

A 10ml via of test cyp costs $45. Lab work costs $57. A doctor visit costs about $200. A year's supply of pins costs about $20.

Let's say you are on 200mg/week of test a week which is at the high end of the range for TRT and you see your doctor twice a year. Get blood work four times a year. Your total TRT cost for a year should be:

Test Cyp ~$250
Pins $20
Doc Appts $400
Lab Work $228

Total approximate Cost of TRT a year is $900. It would be a lot cheaper if you only see your doctor once a year, get blood work twice a year and take less than 200mg/week. You could get your annual cost down to the $450 range.

OMG doctor visit $200???? what the hell are they doing then if they earn almost same as president
