Convincing uro to switch from Gel to IM injections

Uro seems pretty cool. Listens to my symptoms, rather than JUST looking at my numbers.

I'm on 5g AndroGel a day, but would really like to switch to IM injections due to convenience, cost, efficacy. Plus, I'll be honest, I have every intention of blasting/cruising down the road with extra UGL test (not Rx leftovers).

He likes the gel because it's more "physiologic" with a daily dose of test rather than weekly/biweekly.

How can I convince him to let me switch to injections? I've brought up transferrance of the gel before, and he basically said after 30minutes there is NO CHANCE of transferring it to my girlfriend.

Should I bring up cost?
Say me and my girlfriend are worried about transference?

Weekly IM of T cyp or enanthate is what I use for my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). It works great.
Keeps my levels the most stable.

I don't understand how your GF is involved
here.. but if your paying for service your
not happy with, leave and find a new
TRT service provider. good luck man

I used the gel for 2yrs. And it was fucking with my girl friend also but dr wouldn't listen so i finally brought her along and she requested lab work to prove that his protocol was fucking her up. Results convinced him to change!
Another option would be a compounded cream you could rub on the underside of your bean bag its cheaper and it absorbs there much better.

He is technically right about the daily effects... Switching to injection of a weekly basis does alter your hormone pattern more than a daily dose.

That being said prop would technically serve the same effect. I actually seen a log of a gentleman doing his own testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with propusing sub-Q injections instead of IM(Since its such a minor dose on a daily bases for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) reasons).

You could always switch docs, or even hit up Maximus Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) on here. To be honest gel just provides too many inconveniences and does bring in the risk of effecting others. If he wont go that route, let him know he lost a client and is getting a bad review and move on.

It sounds like he is referring to "supra-physiological" doses of bi-weekly shots. You need to tell him that you wish to perform shots EOD or E3D to establish his preference of "physiological" dosing.

It would be funny if you asked him to write that statement in paper, that there is "NO CHANCE of transference after thirty-minutes." . . . . in fact, . . . . . DO IT! Maybe he'll say, "Well, we can try injections, I guess." LOL

ok, let me rephrase.

-GF knows about the gel, and she and I are worried about transferrance during contact
-I want weekly or biweekly cyp/enanthate shots, doc prefers daily test since it's more physiologic (I don't want propionate)

I'm just looking for more convincing arguments than the above to switch. Thanks for the help so far guys. I'll let you all know how it goes in a few weeks.

You need to jut talk to your doc. You see him to maintain your health and well being so you need to tell him you are not happy with the gel and no longer want to use it. You are not asking for 750mg a week, you are simply asking for the same script with a different route of administration. if he cant understand that find a new doc.
