Cooked too hot Hormone Damage??

Just made my first 2 lots of Home Brew

The first was 25mg in 1ml of test prop oil used to make 250mg per ml of Test Dec. (This was only done as a test to see if it held and was painless to inject) (thanks for the advice Pullinbig)

I injected 2 days ago and no problems so far, although only had 0.5ml.... :)

Also made Test Enanthate in Grapeseed oil, again very simple.

I do have one question, I got alittle carried away with the heating process and the rubber stopper was soft after I had heated, so mush so that my pin left a permanent hole in it. So I cooled it and transfered it to a new sterile bottle. Then baked it again for 1 hour at a lower temp (so the rubber didnt melt). Could I have damaged the hormone?
(I admit I was lazy and didnt calibrate my oven, but I cant find and oven Thermometer in any stores (CHINA))

Cooking Gear :)

Seriously, my girlfriends company shipped us both out here for 3 years (good cash for her :), but no gear for me :( )

The gear is alittle darker maybe than the color of honey?
If the color has changed it is fractional
It also seems to be alittle thicker than it was prior to cooking, but not sure if thats possible or my imagination?
Do you know how high a temp the hormone can stand, so that once I get a thermometer I can find out how hot my gear has been heated to.

it aint hurt. it would be almost balck if you burnt it. the stopper and pins will completely melt before the hormone is damaged.

burnt fina

my stopper didnt melt...but i have a 100 ml bottle..i put the bottle in water last night set the stove on med low...far from boiling but when I got up it was still on ...all the water had evaporated...now I dont know what the temp was..but my guess was it got pretty hot after the water evaporated...i was only asleep five hours....still...the batch is dark...not black but dark..im wandering how do you know if its burnt and what happens if it is burnt..

why did you put the bottle in water and heat it? what hormone is it? did you aspirate the vial or was it sealed?

it was fina.... just thought less danger of overheating that way...have read that 250 is needed...kept the stove on medium low...and put water above the mixture level... I dont know what aspirate means...the bottle was sealed before i added mixture...

now i look at it and it looks not so dark..especially when held to light but there do appear to be a very minute amount of particles on the bottom of the vial...after settling for twelve hours,. very very minute amount can hardly see it.

its 250f in the oven. not on the eye of the stove. aspirate, in this case, means to stick a pin in the vial so it can breath. this keeps the top from blowing off because of internal pressure build up due to heat.

some of you guys worry me. please read info that is available before ever starting experimenting. some one is going to get a bad infection or hot oil in the eyes. there is a lot of stuff out there that can kill or cripple as well if solutions/suspensions are not sterile. Please fellas take a few minutes to study before assuming that you are doing something right.
