Creatine and Weight Lifting.

I was curious as to whether or not creatine would stunt growth by the near 400% increase in testosterone it produces.. this was a feud I had encountered with my little cousin, but, I have some details regarding this.

Creatine, in NO way, will stunt your growth. It works by naturally increasing your bodies testosterone. The test is not substituted so it doesnt make you infertile or make your balls shrink in any way.

Creatine also works in the way that it provides your cells a plentiful amount of ATP energy.. Which then allows you to burn more energy (and experience that extra daily energy so much of us on creatine recieve)

Once blood sugar is burned with O2, it results in water, heat, energy, co2 and 36ATP's. Which then allow the ATP's to be burned into ADP energy. The ADP require a chemical reaction of a bonding of another ATP to the ADP to repeat the cycle. So undoubtebly, the creatine adds more energy to the body and hightened levels of test to increase lean muscle mass and strength.

not that many of you care, just thought i'd post this on my own ideas and maybe the account of others who are interested in this. I hope this helps.

would you please post the studies that stated creatine naturally increases your own bodies natural test production i have never seen that one before.

The atp adp thing has been well documented as has the fluids that are retained in muscular cells. it is also well documented that creatine is not effective for everyone. your body only needs so much and if you getting it thru nutrition then it is a waste to supplement. the normal athletic male needs about 2g/70kilo of body weight. so a three hundred lb lifter only needs about 4g/day. thats only 2lbs of meat or fish a day. 2 burgers is half that. the biggest benefit to creatine is that it enables you (if you need to supp) to work out a bit longer. so for guys doing low volume work or guys on mega doses of protein it is of little good. creatine in my opinion is over rated. it works for some but not for others.

another thing about creatine is that there are so many studies out there that are conflicting. everyone has the latest data.

I have been in the iron game for years and have seen alot of stuff come and go. the one thing that works the best and always will is hard work and proper nutrition.

if it makes you feel better to take it then go ahead as it is cheap enough. it may or may not help you. it didnt help me. super supps on the other hand definately help.

post those studies. i would like to take a look at them. hopefully it aint from an advertisement by some company selling the stuff.

i too am interested in the idea that creatine increases test levels... i dont know where you got that study from, but ADP is the REACTION product of ATP losing its endmost phosphate. when ATP loses that phosphate its what creates your energy, but it becomes ADP (adenosinediphosphate), which does NOT bind with another ATP molecule (thatd be 5 phosphates which is prolly bad lolol) however, you can get more energy from that ADP by doing the same thing, removing the end phosphate and turing it into adenosinemonophosphate (AMP). more common however, is that the ADP is attatched to a orthophosphate (HPO4) or alcohol.

just my 2 cents :)

Are you kidding me?!

Creatine does NOT increase your test levels by 400%!
It aint a prohormone buddy.
I'd like to see your sources from where you read this crap.

Wow, I have never heard that it increases your test levels. I thought gear/prohormones/etc. did that, but not creatine?

and here i am thinking you just another purdy face with no teefies.

NO CREATINE DOES NOT INCREASE TEST LEVELS
maybe a little but nothing worth metioning

Explain how it might even increase levels "by a little" bro. It works by an entirely separate mechanism.

i dont think it does at all... test levels might increase as a result in increased muscle mass, but thats mainly just water weight with creatine tho... hmm... i dont know lololol

kinda off topic, but does the flavoring of creatine (ie added sugar/sweeteners) affect the uptake into your bloodstream? heard somthing about that somewhere......

Yeah, the added stuff (sugar, etc.) helps to speed up the delivery of the product. Sugar causes an insulin spike which helps to speed it up.

If it raised your testosterone then your estrogen would also go up, and stunt growth.

Raise your test 400%? What a wheelbarrow full of cow pies.

My last creatine attempt was Swole v2 and like the others, it did jack squat for me.

Creatine's best effect is the placebo effect. If you feel that you can lift heavier and harder then you will, so in a sense creatine can bring results but most of it is in one's head.

Same here.

Creatine has done next to nothing for me. I've cycled it a couple times and gained next to nothing out of it asides from stomach issues.

Well, the first time I used it was Cell-Tech (got fucked by believing the advertising), and it did absolutely jack shit.

Then, this past November I decided to try it again, this time just pure creating monohydrate, mixed with gatorade. I gained about 6 pounds (mostly water, I'm sure) in the first month while on it, then stabilized at about 197-198.

However, M1T DOES work wonders:D :D :D unlike creatine, as I went from that 198 in January to 219 3 two week cycles later (March).
