I've been wantin to switch shit up lately. I usually just take creatine monohydrate, no specific brand just whenever I get a hold of a deal. I've been looking into creatine nitrate lately also.

What's your favorite creatine and brand?

Stick with pure creatine monohydrate powder. Find one that is micronized and mixes well... stick with it. Don't go paying attention to brands, variants or combinations. Creatine monohydrate is basic. Don't over think it because you'll just waste your money on useless brand name crap.

<Warning, incoming NTBM reps to tell you their brands are superior....>

I normally buy pure creatine mono off Orbitnutrition.com. Muscle Pharms has a solid one, and I'm using Finaflex's Creatrona right now and loving it.

cheap bulk creatine di malate from nutraplanet.....

Creatine Nitrate has less water retention if you are looking for that quality from your Creatine. Monohydrate is tried and true, so since I currently use it I would agree with just sticking with what you have.

I would though try it for yourself as supplements affect everybody differently...

You must have something against NTBM?

yup just gonna stick with good ol' mono. Figured I'd bring it up, seems like I get in this conversation like once a week

I'm a fan of creatine gluconate. Its bonded to glucose and is absorbed in much the say way as glucose which obviously raises insulin levels and enters the muscle that way.

In my experience, to compare mono and gluc, its like a car with drum brakes and disk brakes. They both get you stopped but IMO the gluc works just a little better. But to each there own.
