cutting

ok here's my story. i play football, but i stopped playing mid season. im 280 lbs 6' 3" and not too fat maybe 18-20% which is ok for a lineman. I'm pretty strong however I've cut out my powerlifting lifts for now becaue of an aggrevated back. I've started cutting calories however I've never been able to lose my gut no matter how hard I tried to lose weight.

Any tips? my friend said the sauna will help with fat loss after a workout, and I run around 3 miles every other day.

Im gonna start doing some interval training, but I lost my routines, anyone know of any good interval training routines?

i live on campus so i cant really get a great diet but heres what i do manage to eat

breakfast

plain egg omlette
egg whites
tater tots or home fries

lunch

turkey/roast beef sandwich
salad or pasta w/ veggies

dinner

turkey sandwich
steak/chicken/whatever protein source they have and veggies

post workout

oatmeal
honey
raisins
protein shake
waxy maize


snacks(diff times throughout the day)

peanuts
popcorn
cheerios
milk
fruit

i lift every other day sometimes every day if i have time
im gonna start running on an empty stomach as of tomm

* drop the fries, have some oats instead and some EFA's

lunch

turkey/roast beef sandwich
salad or pasta w/ veggies

*make sure it's wholemeal bread


dinner

turkey sandwich
steak/chicken/whatever protein source they have and veggies

*If u can try and cut out carbs on this meal, veggies are fine

post workout

oatmeal
honey
raisins
protein shake
waxy maize

cheerios
milk
fruit

*cut out popcoen, cheerios and make sure your nut source come from raw nuts (not roasted or salted)

*Add more good fats like Omega 3,6,9 and Flaxseed Oil. Add some oily fish in your diet if u like it.

sitting in the sauna ain't gonna do nothing more than make you lose water pounds, not fat.
