Cycle #2

Day 1, here we go!

Cycle #2 will consist of the following: 10/20/25/50/50/50 (10mg Powerdrol-10, then 20; then 25mg Halo-5, then 50).

Stats: 30, 195.6, 6'7", bicep-15.2
Measuring day will be on 6 Dec then again on the last cycle day.

Also I'll be taking the following:

Cycle Assist, ProteX (vital labs) (2 per day)
Mega Man Sport multivitamin (2 per day)
1500mg fish oil (1 tab)
Pantothenic Acid 500 (for skin) (1)
L-glutamine (for post workout)
Muscle Milk (post workout)
Amplified Mass (weight gainer; twice a day) (this stuff works...back in July I was 173.4 dripping wet, now...196.4 at my lightest point of the day)

I'm cutting off the N.O. Explode and extra Creatine tabs. I will start up again during post cycle.

I ran both of these together for my first cycle at a low dosage and I liked the results. This time I'm going to see what each can do separately. As always if you have tips, thoughts, or ideas please throw them my way. I appreciate it.

Bench: 235 Squat: 245 DL: Come on I'm 6'7" I don't DL. I do reps but not a 1rm

I know I'm still on the weak side but 4 months ago I was at 200, 220, and leg pressing only 450 (580 1rm now).

I still have a long way to go to get to my goals but nothing worth getting is easy.

Measuring day is tomorrow....

Measuring Day

A little disappointed but considering I'm only one week into my cycle I'm not going to take it to hard

Height: 6'7"
Weight: 197 (first thing in the morning)
Neck: 16.25
Forearm: 12.25
Bicep: 15
Chest: 44.25
Waist: 33.75
Thigh: 23.25
Calf: 14.25

I still have a long way to go on my goals but I only have 8 more lbs to my original goal weight (started off at 173 back in Aug!). If I hit it in the next 30 days I'm going to raise the bar to 210 or 215 depending on how I feel. Force feeding is getting old but since I've been on cycle now for 7 days my weight has gone only one way instead of fluctuating so that's nice.

I've been bad about posting updates. So here I am 24 days into my cycle and what do I have to show for it...
Well I don't measure again until Jan 6th...BUT... today was a landmark day...I finally hit 205 (morning weight). This was always my goal from the beginning, and today I made it! What great feeling! This was the boost I needed to refuel my drive and get after it again 100%!

I have noticed my chest breaking out this time around, especially since only being on Halo-V. Sucks but it's a price I'm willing to pay. Besides nothing a little B5 and acne scrub can't take care of.

I'm going to try to max on Bench Monday...shooting for 250 (hold the laughter) and I think I can get it. I'm going to cut the last week out of the cycle I've decided and just do 5 weeks total. This way I can do another cycle again sooner. - geez I guess that means I'm really hooked on this stuff huh? Hahaha! Whatever. All I know is I never want to go back to that little 173lb weakling again. F@u& that scrawn guy! Next stop 215 with a 275 Bench.
 
Victory! Got 255 today on the bench 5lbs more than my goal. 275 here I come!

Also 206lbs now! Next stop 215!

Eat bud, eat. You need cals to grow so u can fill out that frame. Cycle looks good, GL

I'm averaging about 3500 calories a day...but you're right.... diet is key. I've heard that doing three day calorie boost cycles can help.... i.e. eat 3500 for 3 days then the next 3 days eat around 4500-5000 then go back down to 3500 for 3 days and repeat.
 
Well...I really realized today that I need to put more emphasis on my legs. Just like Arnie my calves are tiny and need work. Only 5 more days left on cycle then it's post cycle therapy (pct) time. I haven't gotten the huge jump in gains like I did for my first cycle...BUT...I am curling and benching more than I EVER have before in my life. Still staying around a 44in chest and 15 1/2in arms. No back pumps, I've been putting more focus on the chest, arms, and shoulders this cycle...shame on me. During post cycle therapy (pct) I'm going to try to even out more, bring up the back, legs, and abs.

Once I get back to the world and a real gym I'll post some pics.
 
The bubble burst!

So i decided to end my cycle a little earlier than planned. I ended up going exactly 30 days by the way and never went over the recommended dosage (50mg). Reading and scouring the web (and this site) about side-effects got me really paranoid and so I thought it best to just stop. This isn't to say I won't cycle again but for the next 60 days I'm going to focus on my post cycle therapy (pct), dieting, and workout regimes.

This brings me to my next point....I was at a solid 207 on my last day on cycle (211 at night all bloated with food and weight gainer). Four days into post cycle therapy (pct) and I'm at 204.6! WTF man! All my buddies on cycle here just nodded and said "yep, and your going to continue to lose to, at least for a while." I say F- that! I'm going to diet, eat, and lift my as$ off to get to 210. I almost made it on cycle, I'm going to make it off cycle.

Any ideas for next cycle? Maybe just a test this time around? Not familiar with halo and powerdrol.....
 
I would go heavy cals on training days. Or at least 4 days a wk. but u still need to eat clean man. Clean is key

Oh I do. You would be surprised what two weight gain shakes and two Muscle Milk's a day add up to in calories, carbs, and protein. It makes eating clean the rest of the day actually pretty easy. I've been averaging around 4500 calories a day and I finally am back up to 205 today (morning weight). It amazes me though that I can lose 5.4lbs in my sleep! I kid you not. I weighed exactly 211 last night, slept 8 hours, woke up and was 205.6 this morning. WTF man? I've been mixing Casein in my nightly weight gainer that I drink before bed, but I don't think it's been doing much. Oh well I guess, so long and I keep packing on.

When your an ecto your always bulking. Hahaha!
 
Well yesterday was measuring and picture day. I've been in PCT for 11 days now so I think what I'm seeing/measuring now are the true gains from the cycle. Never-the-less it's a bit disappointing and prehaps is the fuel I need get the fire going a little stronger. The ()'s annotate how much I've gained since 7 DEC.

Neck: 17 (+3/4)
Forearm: 12 1/4 (+0)
Bicep Straight: 14 (+1/2)
Bicep Flexed: 15 1/2 (+1/2)
Chest: 45 (+3/4)
Stomach: 35 (+1 1/4)
Thigh: 23 1/2 (+1/4)
Calf: 14 1/4 (+1/4)
Weight: 204 (+7lbs)
Still: 6'7" (no it's not cool)

Bench: 255 1RM DL: 5 reps at 225 (no 1RM) Squat: 5 reps at 255 (no 1RM)

I really am a big fan of Halo-V now and I think in March I will just do a straight cycle of it alone, no more dabbling in the Powerdrol-10. It's also time to do more homework and see what else might be a good alternative.

I appreciate all the feedback in and input.
