Bit of a personal question, but when using cynomel has anyone noticed any constipation or more than usuall gas ?? Or any dehydration ??

I ask as I have been on cynomel @ 100mcg/day now, & my bowel movements are far from normal...I dont know if the cynomel is dehydrating me, which is causing me to be constipated, or just playing havoc on my stomach & causing the more than usual gas & a bit of constipation..

If anything partner.........you should be having MORE bowel movements with the increased metabolism

IMO: You hit the nail on the head with your theory ......"being dehydrated"......have you "lopwered" your daily water intake?

Or.....changed any other eating/drinking habits?

H20

I have not changed my h20 intake that I have noticed, I think I will increase it more & see if that helps...I now drink at least 1 gal a day, usually closer to 1 & 1/2 I think I will up it to at least 2 gal a day...

Nothing else that I know of has changed as far as eating habits...

Thanks for the opinion.

Occasionally, people experience low potassium levels with excess thyroid replacement(uncommon but possible). This could cause dehydration indirectly as well.......just a thought. How's YOUR potassium and salt intake????

Salt/Potassium

To be honest I am not sure exactly what my level of salt/potassium intake is...

But It has not changed, at all do to my diet, I mean my diet is basically the same as it was previous to starting th cynomel, but maybe with the addition of using the cynomel my previous & current salt/potassium intake is not enough..

Thanks again.
