Decca making my herniated disc feel better

I know decca does great things for your joints but I've had a herniated disc for years and always have pain and since I've been using decca the pain has gotten way better? If anything I figured the extra weight would hurt me because the spine would be more decompressed. Could it be the decc or em I trippen?

I thyink given it s causing water retention in soft connective tissue s MAY be the impetus between the relief ur experiencing vs the pain u were suffering from.

Deca is a Wunder drug that way !

Not to rain on your parade as I m so glad you go are experiencing a period of relief in some time but I d like to caution you with the reminder that while it assist s in joint pain/bone pain; it does NOT heal said injuries .

Let s not grab 500 pounds cold and DL IT (YET ), ok.?

YYYYYAAAAYYY FOR YOU THOUGH NONE THE LESS.

Bob you've been around a long time, is this the first time you've tried deca?

I had a similar experience first time.

Deca helps my back and neck issues also. its more of a temp thing, but feels nice. be careful not to push yourself too hard on those areas though. because even if they feel better, they are likely not and you dont want to put more damage to it.
I love deca when bulking because it helps lessen pain, even just 100-200mg ew I found to help(with test ofcourse).

I'm running 300mgs with test of course. It's the second time I've used decca and both times I've felt relief. I always where a belt, I don't lift heavy when it comes to deadlifts and squats. It's crazy I can actually sleep, and put my socks on. It's a weird feeling I wonder if I asked my doctor to prescribe it for my back if they would but then again decca isn't test and you probably can't stay on.

Yeah probably not good for all year use but if you used it maybe 4 or 5 months out of the year it can be helpful. Here's how I look at it tho if you decide to run it year round.....I have seen guys with back probs follow the traditional route of Dr shooting cortisol then a year later they are getting surgery then after laying around healing for months slowly get back to life and a year later their back is hurting them again. I work with 2 guys who have had surgery and got addicted to pain killers and had to go away more than twice only to come back clean and go fuck it all up again.
So if deca is another alternative so you can live a nice normal life Mayne the long term sides can be handled? Monitor closely. Will it even be an issue? Lots of questions but maybe worth looking into.

Deca for therapeutic joints issues need not be as high as 250g wk 150 -200 also there is really no need to split injections.

ah haa, Edited : 250mg not 250g.. :)

Pain is still good but I just got my blood work and that wasn't good so I'm gonna have to stop the decca I think.

my doc gave me 3 or so cycles of deca to help my back and neck after a car accident on the hwy. Its nice, but not sure on year round long term IMO
maybe cycle it

Wait a second you still dead lift and squat with a herniated disc? You do realize every time you put pressure on your disc you're at risk of squeezing more nucleus out so putting a bar on your back or dead lifting will most definitely make the disc bulge worse over time.

As far as Decca helping with a herniated disc I have experienced the same relief. The water retention you get from running deca is more than likely the reason that we get relief from the nerve pressure.

I'm talking like a 10 on each side lol don't go heavy at all.

That weight wouldn't be productive either way. I have 2 bulging discs and I dont do squats or deads. I imagine that if I did, they would become herniated and get even worse. There are plenty of other exercises out there that you can do and get great results with, without risking more injury to your back.

OK gotcha yeah that's not much weight. The only problem is just doing the squat motion puts a lot of pressure on L4 and L5 in the lumbar and especially the deeper you go. So technically by doing any squatting motions repeatedly you're putting more pressure on the damaged disk. It sucks to because there's no quad builder like an old-school barbell squat.

Give this a try, use one of those weighted dip belts and load it up with a 45 or maybe even less at first and you can stand on 2 platforms with the weight hanging between your legs and between the platforms. The weight is sitting on your legs which doesn't put a lot of pressure on your lower back. This works but it's a pain in the ass to set everything up and keep adjusting the belt as it will pinch the skin around your hips.
