Deep tissue massages

Exotic is Erotic...
I have noticed due to the amount of weight training I am doing. I tend to have a lot of tightness throughout my back.

I have found that I am unable to sleep due to the tightness (it causes me headaches)

A friend is a massage therapist and provides me deep tissue massages before my workouts and sometimes right after.

The pain is immediately gone and i don't have to take any OTC pain medicines; which is awesome BC I try to stay away from meds.

I highly recommend Deep Tissue massages after a good workout.

My Chiropractor wants me to start getting them for my back.

Part of the thing holding back the healing process of my back(Sprained my spine about 11 months ago now) is its tightness. And there is quite a bit of pain under/around my right shoulder which he explained is the muscles knotting up.

I can imagine its going to hurt like hell, but a massage is on my to do list within a week now.

Also I recommend a Chiropractor! I get an adjustment about one a month(40 bucks) and man, I normally would only make those noises with a girl. He popped my back once and the back of my feet touched the back of my head and I about passed out it felt so good lol.

Pain is quite pleasurabe to me.My massage therapist friend weighs about 140lbs, I have her use all her body weight and apply as much pressure as possible. She said normally ppl are crying in pain, but with me... I just take it.

She told me it would be good to also see a chiropractor. It's been a very long time since I have had an adjustment. I am training for some marathon runs this year so with all the pounding of the pavement, the impact makes my entire body hurt (sharp shooting pains) in my neck/head from my long runs. I know a chiropractor that only charges $20 for an adjustment. So I should definitely start going to him regularly to fix me. ;)

Spas help too with sore/tight muscles

I have been getting weekly deep tissue massages sometimes 2-3 a week; focusing on my upper back/shoulder region due to the fact that when I sleep I favor my Right side and sleep a certain way. This has seemed to cause a pinched nerve and my muscles are knotting up underneath my shoulder blade; I know with all the weight training I am doing if I don't get an adjustment as part of my maintanence program the pain at times will only get work. This Pain I am feeling is quite dibilitating. I push through my exercises and in my head I say it isn't that bad than the next day there is so much tightness and sharp pains that I feel like crying. I am a pretty tough girl when I need to be, but I Hurt and want someone to rub me. I am bruised and tender in my upper back from the amount of pressure applied to help relieve my pain. I think I need her to start massaging me gently and one give me a Deep tissue Bi-weekly. :(

I do regular chiropractic and deep tissue. Wouldn't have it any other way now. My masseuse treats me almost like a project - my left delt was higher than my right due to tightness in my left pec and trap and she has done wonders evening it out - her goal is to make me completely balanced and I definitely see improvements. The most painful area for me is my quadriceps...she goes as hard as possible everywhere and I'm fine but outer quads make me squirm like a little biatch haha.

LOL... I think I need to find myself my own Chiropractor to give me adjustments;)

I have my massage therapist, my running coach, my swim coach, my training partner, and I found myself a Clinical Psych who is one of my Gym friends who I am going to speak with about helping me figure out what exactly Triggers my Act on Impulsiveness...LOL (Recently When I am unable to express myself the way I need to I get tattoo'd. To have someone cause Pain to me, Pain is pleasureable and helps me escape for however long I am getting worked on, I escape my reality and helps soothe me when I am upset, IT's my therapy... but I have to stop before I end up with a full body suit LOL ) Currently I have not been getting tattoo'd I have completely replaced it with my Training and my Running. But what will happen when the Physical activities no longer relieve those feelings I am unable to release. What will I choose next? I know I will always stay active and train however it's important to me find out what triggers these impulsive actions, and fix that part of me that is broken...

I don't want to rebel when things don't go my way... At least I acknowledge it and want to correct that behavior.

Went off Topic for a second but it all goes together... I train and train hard for a reason, and being in tune completely (mind, body, and soul) is the only way I will ever achieve the results I want. I cannot have any loose wires LOL...

Thank goodness for Holistic healing, I wouldn't know what to do if i could not fix myself naturally... I am not one to take meds to subdue pain temporarily I like getting to the root problems and correctly the imbalances within.
