Diet for Endurance Workouts

I was wondering what kind of food I should be eating after workouts. I do a lot of calisthenics because I'm in Army ROTC.

For example, today's workout included:

2.5-mile run

400-yd swim (supposed to be 500 yds but the pool closed before i could finish)

110 pullups
220 pushups
330 situps
220 dips

What are some examples of a meal plan that would be good for workouts like this?

50/30/20 carb/protein/fat ratio...this is what most runners will follow...or upwards of 60/20/20...I wouldn't go much higher than 60% carbs though...

Are you just concerned about endurance or a combonation of strength and endurance.

If your a pure runner I would suggest

60% Carbohydrates
30% Protein
10% Fat

I'm guessing you don't weigh much.

No, I'm 5'4", 135 lbs. In high school I competed in the pommel horse for a reputable team for gymnastics. The workouts really built up my upper body strength and endurance, but I never ran then. I used to lift A LOT. The military emphasizes more endurance than weight training. It took me four years to get to that level. I score really high on the pushup/situps for the Army PT test, but I suffer in the running portion.

Plus, those reps are done with the pyramid workout.

The workout I've started now is the beginner's workout for Navy SEAL training. So uh......yes, you have to expect very high repetitions nonetheless......

It's working great too....I've never felt better in my life!
