I am going for my bloodwoork today and this is on my requisition - I don't recall it being on the last one so did a litle reading on it but don't totally understand it. It is supposed to be much more potent than testosterone iteslf and fights the aromatization process.

I guess there is no real question here just wanted to know if anyone had a little more knowledge they could share on the subject with me - appreciated!

DHT is important to maintain sex drive amongst other things. Testosterone is converted to DHT via the 5-Alpha-Reductase enzyme. So basically when testosterone bumps into this enzyme it gets converted to the more potent hormone DHT.

About 7% of a males total testosterone should be converting to DHT, if this number is too low, you will not have a good sex drive, if it is too high, your hair may start falling out :)
