Do you guys think this routine is to much?

Warren, i hate to rain on your parade, but the the majority of guys who really train tend to gain more muscle when lifting heavy than they do by lifting lighter. and it's deep, dense, thick muslce. now with that said, high rep ranges and higher volume does have it's place, just not in a "bulking" phase (IMO) unless it is being done in a deload week to take a break from heavy lifting so that the body can rest and recover from constantly handeling heavier loads.

LOL sad...

Don't get pissed at me cuz you train ineffectively and then get called out when you show your lack of knowledge on a public forum.

Seriously, if you don't wanna get bitched at and be called an idiot - don't post if you don't know what the fuck you're talking about!

Notice how I don't jump down walker's throat? Cuz he actually sounds like he knows something.

Oh, but hey, at least you get a pump :hahano:

Anyways, this thread is way off track now. Let it die.

Im not trying to argue, im just providing information to a fellow bodybuilder. No need to get hostile.

Iv gotten mass doing what iv done, you've got mass doing what you've done.

Like i said, im just providing info thats worked well for me and may work for someone else too.

That's some funny shit!! There is a lot of guys on here that lift natural and still know heavier weight=bigger body. Good luck with your light weight stuff.

I probably should have stated that my ultimate goal is to be around 205 and in single digits for body fat. Im not a power lifter but I do want to be strong and powerful if that makes sense lol. I love lifting heavy but also want to look more like a bodybuilder.

doesn't matter. getting big is about getting stronger. The routine isn't as important as adding weight to the bar.

This was my routine for mon
Squats 5x5
Bench 5x5
Barbell row 5x5
Hammer curls 5x5

How does that look? Btw I was increasing weight about 10 percent with each set
