Ok what about eating something like carrots to keep my belly full?
carrots have calories!! as long as your tracking what your eating and making sure its fitting in your calorie mark you should be fine![]()

Don't use percentages. What's your current stats, and TDEE?
So...this is where things are getting iffy. I just moved across the country a month ago and havent gotten a scale (my gym, for some reason, doesnt have one). Im 5'9", probably around 170lbs and I have no clue what my TDEE is. Every time I tried to figure it out I got bogged down with the formulas to actually get it. If anyone can point me to an easy site to figure this out I would be very greatfull!
Your TDEE should be higher than that, what formula did you use? I would advise not to go under 2,000 cals unless prepping for a show. Been down that road and it's not fun man. Not worth feeling like that just to have a six pack or whatever you're trying to get to.
