Do you measure your heart rate while strength training?

if i have to do a 3 day split with it i will-but i have a feeling this tren will let me do each muscle 2x a week. we will see

i was in the gym tonight sitting there thinking about my heartrate inbetween sets. lol
 
with this thread in my head, to try something new i wore my heart rate monitor for my normal weight training routine trying to keep it high 100bpm+. it cut my rest time down A LOT. i maxed out at 187bpm right after some of my heaviest incline dumbells. lemme tell u i was SHOT after my chest/tris routine. did it in about half the time. i was gunna compare calories burned in this workout to when i do chest/tris again like i would normally not paying attention to heartrate. just to compare. but my hrm isnt registering the calories burned, i think its broken.... pos ;\
 
so my monitor came in the mail today-im pretty pumpe, its easy to use.

if anyone is interested i an do a weekly log on how i like it
 
hey bro-i got the watch and started another thread, nobody seemed to be following so i quit updating it, i love it though. the main reason i love it is for the calorie tracker, i love seeing how many cals i burn during workout. it helps me adjust to my goals
