Doctor called and told me to go to E.R. Now! -Blood Work-

Okay, maybe a few of you have read my post from yesterday. I'll give you the run down though.

I wanted to get bloodwork done after my PCT . Everyone kept denying me unless they had a reason to order the work. I came up with a reason and said I was feeling lethargic and weak and noticed weight loss . I also told him I was taking creatine hoping that would push him to get it done. Well, he did and the results came back yesterday. Everything was good but my creatine levels were higher than hell. They wanted to do more bloodwork yesterday, so I went in. I got this bloodwork done and I got the results in the same day apparently becuase the doctor called me but I missed the call. The doctors office calls me this moring and says he wanted me to go to the E.R. now. He said my levels have sky rockted since my last bloodwork, but I haven't been on creatine or any supplements. My pct is even done.

WTF is going on? Could the test or dbol have done this?

I got to thinking and I thought that what if maybe the so called steroids I got from nappster was some kind of injectable creatine? Sounds dumb as fuck, I KNOW, but why the hell would the levels go up even higher?

did you ask him what your levels are?
i would call back and get the #s for both tests

also, how are you feeling?
are you drinking enough water?

never heard of injectable creatine and even if it did exist, you would think the effects of those shots would be long gone

Man, I FEEL like a champ. The ref range for creatine levels are 20 - 200 and the first time I had blood taken it was 493 and yesterday they skyrocketed even higher. I dont know the exact number.

damn, are you taking any other supplements that could alter the #s?

its hard not to listen to your doctor in this case, if you have insurance, i guess all you have to lose is the time and deductable

If for some reason they can't find why this is happening, should I come clean about my steroid use?

yes, i would, they need to know the whole picture if your levels are truely that high

maybe u can request one more test, from another lab, to confirm these levels prior to telling anyone anything(maybe the er can do it asap)

good luck bro

ive heard heavy excercise can raise blood levels take a few days off from training before being tested.

you are talking about creatinine, not creatine (i hope)?

Creatinine is a metabolite of creatine.
since you are taking exogenous creatine, likely in high amounts, then you are going to have high amounts of creatinine in your blood.

This can potentially indicate that your kidneys are not clearing creatinine as well as they should, or that you are putting a lot of stress on your kidneys to filter it out.

Like DaDawg stated, certain levels of markers can increase (like Creatine Kinase) if you exercised REALLY REALLY hard. What happens in this instance is you have muscle fiber destruction and their contents leak out into your blood.

It might be helpful to get a blood test showing BUN:Creatinine ratio. As well as a Creatinine Clearance test (urinalysis).

For now though, I would simply slow down on the intake of your supplemental creatine.

Just got back from the hospital.
I had blood work done two different times. Each a week apart and the second test was higher than the first. I had another taken at the hospital and it is still high; Along with something else too.

The doctor told me that when you exercise really hard your muscle tissue breaks down and rebuilds itself and that the broken down muscle tissue goes through your kidneys. Apparently this is what is happening and is one reason why my creatine levels are so high and why my kidneys are being clotted with muscle tissue from the break down of muscle. He also said that when the muscle tissue breaks down it releases creatine from the muscle itself(something like that) and it could be why the levels are higher.

I wonder if the Test or Dbol did this? Unless you all know, I guess I wont ever find out. I have also thought of this though... Since the breakdown of muscle tissue releases some creatine from the muscle, it could be that I lift 6 days a week. I figure that if it were not the gear, then they just must have been naturally high because I lift so much and so intensly.

And I just said I was taking creatine so he would be more willing to get the blood work done, because I knew how against it he was.

They asked me if I was taking steroids, and I told them I hadn't. I figured if they couldn't figure out why it was so high that then in that case I would tell them, but even though they dont really know what caused it, I dont think i'll open up just yet. Maybe if I start feeling bad because my levels are up will I go to the E.R. and tell them.

Do you guys think I should go ahead and run my Test Deca and Dbol cycle when I go pick it up?

i had a doc run a blood test for me and he was basically telling me that my kidneys could fail any time because my kidney enzymes (i forgot what it was called, it was like a 2 letter acrynom) were SUPER high. normal range was like 20-200 and my levels were over 2000. but he said they would be high also from intense workouts because when u workout, u break down the muscles (protein) and that gets filtered through the kidneys. and my diet is really high in protein. but he was anti gear so he blamed everything on the gear and said its gonna kill me basically.

and my liver enzymes were just a little over normal. i know guys on cholesterol meds that make their liver enzymes twice that of mine when im on dbol. doctors r a joke.

Between this incident and your post office episode, you are busier than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest!

did you just get done with pct?

could it possibly be too much volume training and your breaking down muscles in a highly catabolic state?

I was reading an article on a man who died because his creatine levels from muscle breakdown got too high doing that weird jap workout that is supposed to be beyond intense.

Take it easy, plain and simple...and telling a lie about steroid use is double edge.

A: if they know they could record it and insurance will fk you over for life. But it could mean something bigger is happening that they could help avoid.

B: They over react so telling them is pointless, few doctors understand steroids well enough. But at the same time, they are 100% right in the fact you SHOULD NOT take steroids regardless the reason. The more natural state your body stays in, the healthier you stay.

But we all know why were in the Anabolics section of a site called steroidology :D :D :D

Truth be told though, half of us or more will suffer health issues down the road...
