Doctor says my hormones are "Normal enough" everything I read says my levels suck.

Im a 23 year old hard training male and recently got my hormones levels tested due to lack of libido. Even though some of my levels were abnormal the Doc said not to worry about them. I later looked up some of my "normal" levels based on age and I appear to be rather bad. Here are the numbers:

Free Testosterone: Normal at 5 ng/dL (range given 4-24)
Test %: 1.27
Test: Normal at 397 ng/dL (range given 280-800)
SHBG: High at 57.0 (range given 14.5-48.4)
ALB: High at 5.6 g/dL (range given 3.5-5.0)
BIOT: 153
BIOTESTO% 38.5

Prolactin: High at 19.1 nh/mL (range given 4.0-15.2)
Cortisol: High 29.0 ug/dL
Estradiol: Low at <10 pg/mL (range given 13.5-59.5)
TSH: Normal at 1.59 UIU/mL (range given 0.27-4.20)
LH: Normal at 5.1 mIU/mL (range given 1.7-8.6)

I plan to get a second opinion but was wondering what kind of doctor to go to (Family Physician, Anti-Aging, Endo)?
I also am curious to hear anyones opinions of my numbers and really what they mean since this is the first time I have ever gotten my hormones tested. I should also add that I have never used anabolics (although I am pro-legalization).Thanks everyone.

An endo is probably your best bet as they can actually try to figure out what the root cause is for your lower levels of test. That's a crazy estradiol level combined with high SHBG. Any idea what your LH/FSH were?

Thanks for the reply.

LH was normal at 5.1 (range given 1.7-8.6)
FSH doesn't appear to have been tested

Go see an endo. Your numbers don't look good. They certainly are not "normal enough".

Don't freak out. You aren't going to die tomorrow. You just need to figure out what is going on so you can start feeling better.

Thanks guys. Do you know if I need a referral for an endo or can I just schedule an appointment? I don't know if my doc who thinks I'm "normal enough" will give me a referral.

Depends on your insurance to be honest; some require a referral, some don't. Yeah, with an LH like that on top of everything else, I'm glad you're getting looked at. If you can't find a competent doc, the guys from Increase My T sure seem to have their shit together and could probably fix you up lickety-split. ;)
