i just bought a power rack and bench and weight. So now i figure if i buy a leg press and a full set of dumbells. I will have every thing i could possible need.

what leg presses do you guys like or have?

I do!got a smith,cable xovers,bench t-bar row,powerblock dumbells,dip station,lat pulldown and low row.its nice,will get a preachbench soon

youn think working out on the juice in the house will get you a good enough work out. Also what legpresses/haqcksquat can you reccomend.

I personally would invest in a good squat rack instead of a leg press.
You're going to spend a fortune on a leg press and/or hack squat.
You can't beat regular squats in my opinion for legs.

i have some equipment im my house but personally nohing will beat the atmosphere and variety of equipment that a gym has to offer

i started lifting when i was 10 with my pops, on one of those concrete sets, wow, i remeber benching like 120 in 7th grade, that was awesome weighing 95 pounds...i was the man back then...lol

Well, personally, I've got a power rack w/lat & pullup stations and adjustable bench, and a bench/incline press bar w/leg ext/curl attachment. I've also got dumbells in every increment from 15-45. I stopped working out at home about 2 years ago though, because (A) I outgrew the dumbells and didn't wanna invest in new ones, and (B) I found it much harder to make myself work out when I could just walk 20 feet and be back in the LaZBoy.

That's pretty decent for grade 7. I started lifting in grade 9 with a bench of 100lbs. I thought that was big weight, then by the end of the year I was up to 155, weighing about 130. Good times.

I was a bicep whore, like most people new to weights, I'm just glad that phase is way over with. :)

I have a power rack and im thinking about buying a nice leg press/hacksquat but cant find out which one i want. Then im gonna but some dumbeels allitle at a time and also get a lat pull down with a low ror cable. Then i can also make a home t bar row. And att pull up bars and there is preety much nuthing i can do at the gyme that i cant do in house. Cany you huys remcomend a nice legpress/hack thanks

A good hack machine is gonna cost you. If you have the bucks, stick to the "name" brands the better pro gyms use, it will last a lifetime. You can, for now, do hacks by grabbing the barebell behind your back and squating down with it, like a reverse deadlift, but keep the torso tight and upright and start light (real light), and REALLY keep form. You will be sore the next day just from the different stress. It will also help your deadlift as an added benefit.

That's great for that age/size. When I started in 7th grade, I weighed about 170 and could bench 75 and squat 135.

my my my, how the times have changed.

i remember havin that plastic cement filled set ,mine was listed as kilos ,also some of the plastic was broke and cement crumbled out, never knew what the fuck you were lifting!
