Does anyone here feel they have permanently damaged

Either their sexual function or sex drive as a result of steroid use? Doesn''t have to be a full loss of function, just a noticable difference. If so, cycle history and what you think the culprit might have been would be helpful.

I dont believe there is such thing as permanent damage to the sex drive. Unless you got your nerves cut.

Well, there could be if they are related to low testosterone levels. That is why blood work should be done, to ensure that your levels are getting back to normal when you stop your cycle.

Personally, my sex drive has remained stable throughout my use. Never have had a problem.

That's what I was thinking, but of course those guys can go on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), so I couldn't decide if that counted a permenant damage to the sex drive or not.

Is there any other way to see if you've returned to normal levels other than blood work?

there is no sure way but you do feel it. Your mood, intrest in sex, and workouts are all good indications. All of those are in the shitter when test levels are low enough, but when they go up its probably because test levels are returning to normal.

nope only bloodwork can tell you your exact levels.

He should say have damaged your natural sex drive as HRT is an intervention in my option as you have to remain on it for life.

When is the best time to run bloodwork during post cycle therapy (pct)? Once during and at the end, a week or so afterwards, etc..?

I have heard stories that some pro level competitors are completely impotent and are likely to stay so for quite a while. I think that falls under the category of at least semi-permanent damage.

It will depend if you want to know if you are recovering or if you are fully recovered. But with both you should have reference bloodwork before the cycle started.

Sorry for the confusion, but IU would consider any kind of necessary HRT as "damaged." Would be like saying you have no issues with natural erectile function because you take cialis every day.

I agree, and it depends how long you been on also IMO, and what compounds.

For example, i was on most of last year, came off 7 weeks ago. Had my blood work done last week at the 4 week mark of post cycle therapy (pct), test was in the toilet still, so I am staying on post cycle therapy (pct) for a while longer. I will get it tested 8 weeks from now and see where I am.
