Yes, it is pretty common.

ya, try keeping the needle in 10-15 seconds after the gear is in before you pull it out.....that seems to help me

Very comon. I have a paper towel ready and appply pressure afor 30 sec after inj.

solution: z-track injection method.

z track or inject slower and wait a bit before pulling the needle out
that stopped it for me. coming out of the glute though? that is typically a deeper inject. What size spike are you using? it should be 1 1/2 inch in length unless you are incredibly lean back there
