hi!

have been on one of pullinbig's routines (light-heavy approach) quite successfully but want to try something new just for 6 weeks.

Have thought of dogcrapps method including extreme stretching. HAs anybody of you guys tried this before? How were the results? WIll it be a good routine to support gymnastics as well (don't want to bulk too much, need more realtive strength and strength as a whole but a few solid pound won't be too bad).

Thanks for the replies! greetz

weasel0803, This program is for one thing and one thing only, to gain as much muscle mass as possible in the shortest time, that means you lift incredibly heavy and short duration and eat like you have never eaten before, IMO this would not be good for gymnastics...

Nobody says he has to slam the food like crazy. The training principles are sound, and the strength gains are great.

I am training DC-style while cutting. I don't really see a problem with doing this with gymnastics.

In-Human, what if they modified the diet and used to program for the strength gains you can get.

It focuses on compound movements and I think that would help someone tremendously in gymnastics.

I'm not too sure how DC runs the diet with his clients, but I bet he could manipulate it for this persons goals.

I think you would have to take the intensity way down and totally adjust the workout, which would really make it different from what DC does. If someone trains with his methods, but doesn't eat TONS, they won't have the recovery abilities to continue making gains with the program. Some parts of the methodology could definitely be used though, such as the extreme stretching. Provides great flexibility. And the low volume/lift heavy theory could be worked into just about any program IMO.

thorsky, You will never type again, lol, oh and you are banned too, oh I not a mod here, sorry wrong board, lol.

Anyway you have to remember this program is a mass building program, its not a cutting program and you will not reap the maximum benefits of this program without high quanities of protein, I really don't care how many cals you eat, but in order to put away the protein that is needed you must eat all day long, that builds muscle and this is what this program is about.

This program is for people who are stuck with their current training and have tried all other programs and really need some help to get that extra mass they have wanted for so long.

Do you seriously think you could do all that training for gymnastics and do this kind of r/p training and be able to recouperate and build mass, well if you can do it please let me know how it comes out...
