Dogg Crapp training for 21 year old

Hi Gents

Just some quick info im 21 184lbs 13 bf

bench press 1rep max 264lbs
deadlift 5 reps 330lbs
squat 5 reps 198lbs

(havent been training legs for a year since ive developed tendonitis in my left knee)

Ive been doing need sizes 5x5 routine for 12 weeks now and have come to a plateau and im getting bored of the same old routine.

I would personally like a change to DC training- however i am not an "advanced lifter" but i love the intensity of the program; rest pauses ,ability to train body parts 3 times in 9 days, the mental focus on negatives, extreme stretching

the DC program states you should have 3 years experience lifting and solid frame. Ive been lifting since i was 18 properly so just about 3 years.

So would it be okay if i started this program? or should i continue with the 5x5 routine?

your 21 years old , get the knee figured out so that you can train properly before jumping on something that intense.

if you keep lifting heavy upper body only your body will look awfull , i laugh at the guys at my gym and ask them if thats their legs or are they riding a chicken.
