Why are bodybuilders so short?

I used to think they would be 6'5-ish with all that muscle. I thought the taller the guy the more muscle he can put on? I may have thought wrong.

The taller you are the harder it is to look as big as the shorter bodybuilders, limbs etc are much longer and the muscles are spread out alot more.
