Down 100 pounds, loose skin anyone PICS?

Hey guys this is my first post although I've been an avid reader for a long time. Anyone lost a ton of weight but still struggling with the lower belly skin?/any suggestions?

I also lost around 100pounds & and i was 5"5 at the time, I'm not sure if myn is loose skin or not
I can get really lean, and there is always a little skin that I can pull out and tuck under my cloths..but i never had a 6pack yet, as you drink water or get overweight again, the hang starts coming back on for me..
I hope for you that its not loose skin!

Im 5 foot 7, 172 pounds. Came down from 270 three years ago.

I still have good muscle mass and strength, however as I lean out and continue to loose fat I do not see my sagging belly go away! It sucks because I would love to wear a tight tee for my arms but my stomach is so bad.....

Any thoughts? Still going to drop around 10-15 pounds.
 
you MIGHT have to get a tummy tuck.. i know it sucks but we wont know for sure untill you get into the low teens for bf...

sometimes when you rapidly lose weight (which is what im guessing happened with you) you have left over skin... esp when you were that heavy...

well done on all the weight loss though...

you need something around 50 posts to be able to p.m. good job on the weight loss by the way, and 3J is right about the plastic surgery might have to go that route, time will tell
 
i would really suggest working our abs, obliques and lower back hard with weights to make them grow, i myself have dropped over 150 lbs give or take, but Ive been doing it in conjunction with gear and heavy lifting as well as loads of cardio, Ive been doing it for four years and still have a lot of fat to burn , its going away little by little but everything seems to going back into place , juss a suggestion. :soap:

I deff need to drop more fat but my hanging stomach is just sitting there...

I was hoping to drop another ten pounds and then try exactly what you said, running my first cycle and try and build as much mass as I can to pull the skin and fill it out?

last september i was sitting at 335 .. i lost a lot of weight rapidly and have been dealing with the same BS belly skin.. with time it has gotten better . .and im still droping weight little by little (i am 6'2'')..
im with apdronjr on this one too .. keep training and building mass .. it will start gettin better .. im currently at 255 and my belly no longer does that lil hang over that it used to do.. i guess if a year from now its not taken care of ill go under the knife ... the stretch marks arent all that great either !!!

Im literally sitting here playing with it like its an ocean of fat....lol
 
And 3j are you a big fan of low carb for fat loss? /how low is low carb?

here's how i see it

keto = 40-50g or less

low carb = no less then 150g

why? because your liver starts producing glycogen when you go lower then that *on average*

its counter productive.. so either go really low or stay around 150g
 
would it be completely pointless to have a few days where im below 150 grams of carbs, closer to 50 and then some days where im close to 100? Seems to be where im at
 
That's what we call Carb cycling. So you would do 250 150 50 and leas then 20 then repeat
 
Ive been carb cycling, however not going up to that 250 amount which I know is essential to replenish glycogen stores? I guess im just wondering how effective carb cycling is vs maintaing a low carb diet vs keto.
