Dr. update on my "gyno"...

MP5

The Cooler
Went to the doctor today for the lump under my nip.
They took blood to do a test of Prolactin and Testosterone levels. If those are elevated then I need to see an endocrinologist, if those levels are normal then I need to talk to a surgeon for perhaps a biopsy.

What alarmed him is that I am not on any roids, prohormones etc so for my body to start having jacked hormones is not real likely. Thus the biopsy and possible tumor.

I am going to continue to take my Nolva and hope it goes away. I don't get blood work back for a week.

Thanks, kind of funny how 800mgs of test and 35mgs of dbol never caused me problems!

And now that I am not on anything I get a lump in my pec.

Definitely keep us updated on this. Its so strange that this is happening to you. Im actually really interested in finding out why exactly a lump has appeared under your nipple without any gear use.

Hey MP5.........I just thought about something. You said you bumped your chest the other day and after that is when you noticed the lump. I wonder if it's possible you've had it for awhile, maybe since your last cycle and just never knew. I have heard it is possible to develop gyno on a cycle and not ever have any symptoms, therefore you might not even know.

I had a painful knot under my right nip that didn't appear till about 3 months after the end of my last cycle but it went away after about 5-6 mos... I think sometimes these things just flare up when the body is transitioning back to normalcy. Good luck with everything bro...

Thanks, I shave my chest a lot and never noticed it until last Friday. Very bizarre. I have been cautious about gyno especially from my last cycle and checked everything out often and never felt anything.

I think someone sees a puffy nip and screams gyno, but real gyno is under the nip and is an actual lump. If you pull your arm back over your head it will flatten out your pec and you can push on your nip with your finger and it should feel flat or actually indented underneath, if it isn't (like mine) then you know something screwy is happening. I will keep you all posted and post my test levels too once I get the results in a few days.

I know nothing about the parameters of test measurements as to what is normal or not, nor which unit of measure they use.

Just as an FYI, I have heard of cases of gyno months after stopping a cycle, but it is not a common thing. Gyno can definitely have a delayed reaction and I have read about people getting it, 3,6,9 even 12 months after stopping a cycle.

IMO, and I am no medical expert here at all, I assume it is a mild case of gyno. I would doubt that it is a form of cancer, especially since you did a moderate dosage of test (800mg per week) and dbol as well. It will be interesting to see what your blood comes back like, but you most likely have elevated estrogen levels possible lower test levels and that is what caused this to happen.

Best of luck to you bro, I can only imagine how bad this sucks. Peace

thanks for the wishes guys! Nice to have a place like this where people actually understand what you are going through!

I doubt it is a tumor. When did you end your last cycle (clomid& everything)? With gyno you wont notice a lump overnight really .....takes some time for it grow.

So, get this shit. They call and leave a message on my phone that said "Hey MP5, this is Rachel from the doctor's office. Your tests all came back normal". And that is all she said!

So I called and left a message to get my results and no one has called me back.

That's the caring doctors we all know about so well. " Hi, this is doctor Jones, your test came back positive for AIDS, have a nice day."

It is illegal to leave test results over the phone! I even had them give me an HIV test just to be sure and funny they would leave a message like that.

A former workout partner of mine, had gyno 6 months after ending a cycle !!!
He stopped training and went out drinking allmost every weekend !
(he allso did not PCT)
...after 6 months he became sore, he used nolvadex and the gyno subsided !

Wierd, but true story ! he was puzzled too....
