Drinking Alcohol and Juicing???

Muscles can't stop this..
A friend of mine recently started his first cycle being Test E 600mg / week.
Before I opened the door for him to the proper ways to cycle and eat and lift etc etc I neglected to think of the fact that he is 2 drinks a week away from being an alcoholic. Not Really!!! But he drinks alot! When he started and now he is on week 3 I now have realized that he drinks way too much, I told him that he needs to cut back to very seldom or rarely while on cycle!
Thing is, that I know that alcohol (in excess) and juicing don't mix but I really don't have any reason why I know this. Just know it.... it's what I've always heard and thought.
Can some of you guys shed some info on the real reasons why Alcohol and juicing don't mix so he will take me a little more seriously? Me telling him to cut alcohol out and back just because you "shouldn't do that" isn't working. He is also not seeing gains that are similar to many others on this same dose/ week.

haha first of all I have a lot of experience with drinking on cycles...hence I try not to do it anymore. Alcohol dehydrates your body and starves it of the nutrients it needs to support muscle growth. Protien synthesis (from my research) will shut down by 20% from drinking which will greatly reduce your gains however it wont stay shut down all that long. Alcohol takes about 3 days to be cleared of your system.

This last cycle I did somewhat of an experiment with drinking. I drank a total of 3 times during 12 weeks and monitored what happened. Basically after I drank I didnt lose any weight but I didnt gain any for a week either. So it didnt take away what I gained but it did inhibit me from gaining.

When I drink on a cycle I always drink vodka water in one hand and just water in the next. I try to keep as hydrated as possible. Right before bed I will eat some greasy ass food and slam a half a liter of water which helps my body replenish the lost nutrients. When I wake up the next day I eat a massive breakfast with lots of milk and water (yes I tend to force it down because I dont feel very good) and continue eating as much as I can and drinking milk and water throughout the day.

I am not sure what everyone else does but I know there are alot of varied opinions out there...this is just what alcohol does to my cycle.

I would try to keep the drinking down to special occasions only on or off cycle. Imagine what drinking does to your body off cycle versus on...while on you get the recovery and support from the aas...off you get no help IMO.

moral of the story....if you cant go a day without catching a buzz then start smoking weed!

Cobra and User are both correct i m o..as usual but to me ..

Alcohol is useless...unless I m using it to get the pants off of my latest target. I ussually have the bartender put the shot from my drink in hers..

It causes me to feel sluggish for a couple days, dehydrates etc. On cycle makes no sense but then I m fkn old.

However I m pro choice on everything..weapons, soft drugs like weed and roids, etc.
 
fact is most "juiceheads" get smashed on the weekends or at least twice a week. I agree with all the comment above... I know a bunch of people who have been taking AAS and drinking for years.. they dont grow as much as someone who doesnt drink but they still grow, also the hangover is brutal. I am guilty of doing this many times in the past and not proud of it. I know some BB's who get tuned up from time to time as well.

Tell your friend that doing orals and drinking is asking for problems, test and few beers is a different story. If he is a boozebag though, maybe he is not ready to be taking test.
 
If I'm at dinner with the wife or I come home and feel like a having a beer or Vodka - Tonic, I will have one. Sometimes two...

But at my age the hangovers just aren't worth anymore than that! Nothing worse than trying to hit the gym hung over...
 
Thanks guys! I appreciate all the info. Maybe he is not ready for this cause now that I gauge everyone's comments, he obviously drinks way more than what you guys imagined. Maybe he is an alcoholic and that is why he desires AAS cause he is small due to drinking so much his body isn't able to metabolize protein as well and he stays dehydrated!
Hopefully he will listen to me cause he gets hammered at least 2 but most times 3 times a week.

Well I'm fuked. I plan of being smashed on Cobras boat at least a dozen times this summer, with a blunt in my hand, jacked on juice and I won't say the other but what can I do, its's the fucking boating season.
 
smoking def makes you smash all day. hard to for to eat clean tho when smoking.

cobra - yeah about 2 weeks ago i went out and got all wasted, fun night bitches everywhere. yeah i didnt notice shit in the gym for about a week. i didnt relate the two i just figured i was losing more body fat maybe.
 
Shit the hangovers are not as bad on the tren. lol And I'm the happiest dude ever on cycle, it's when I come off that I'm not the same.

Wish I was like that! I'm an asshole (so says every girl I have ever known) off cycle and just a bigger one on! Though coming off adds greatly to the assholishness due to test dropping and weight dropping a bit and it just puts me in a funk on top of assholishness and makes for an irritable asshole..... :asshole:
