Eating late.....

How long before bed should I stop eating while bulking? Lately, I've been eating my last meal at about 8, and then something right before I hit the sack at 9:30 or so. Wonder if it's causing me to add inches to the waist and other places I don't want it? How long before bed do you guys stop? Just curious.

Just keep the carbs down for the late meals and you're fine. Something meaty and fatty would be good to help keep you through the night.
 
Even when bulking I try not to eat after 8pm that is if I go to bed before 11pm. Later in the day I try to have less carbs, and more protein and fats in what I eat it seems to let me stay leaner when I am bulking.
 
How about a little twist to that. I am trying to loose some unwanted fat,eating 6 meals a day when do you guys stop eating before turning it in when doing a cutting cycle?

I'd wouldn't stop eating early...just eat protein and fat before bed and no carbs. The meal should be proportionally smaller since you're dieting.

there are alot of guys here who can vouch that thye have made noticeable gains by setting thier alrms and haveing a mini meal in the middle of the night(typiocally a low carb shake)

if your bulking dont see how that could not hurt and most likely would help

^ just here to reaffirm the above. Eating before bed has been so so overhyped, that the topic has been beaten to death and there is still mass confusion. Eat. EAT. Keep carbs to a minimum because carbohydrates apparently inhibit GH during sleep cycles. Something like that. A famous before bed snack is PB and cottage cheese. mmm
