Eggs: Good or Bad?

I'm not trying to bulk up like most of you guys are but I'm trying to lose weight and reduce my cholesterol numbers. I've heard different view points regarding eggs so, what's the truth about them?

this seems like a dumb post. but eggs are good. i would recommend eggs and oatmeal (not instant oatmeal) every morning. like 2 whole eggs and 5 egg whites. and half cup of oatmeal.

whether the cholesterol in the yolk is good or bad is still debated. depending on how many eggs ur eating, i would do mostly whites but definately throw yolks in there. eggs are very good overall.

it all depends on how u cook your eggs..

e.g. if the yolk isn't cooked like when its sunny side up, then its fine..

its when the yolk cooks that the cholesterol gets bad for you.. that's why liquid whole eggs dont have any cholesterol listed in their nutritional values.. the yolk isn't cooked

Is that really how it works?? That's cool I've never heard that. That's good news for me cause I always make them sunny side up. Or over easy at restaurants.
