i did a chest and tri work out yesterday, ive always had a lil pain in my elbows if i dont warm up and my frist couple excersises but after i start sweating or get warm they feel fine. yesterday i did 1cc in each tri before work out(i dunno if has any relevence or not) and i did heavy skull crushes which i usually dont do. i could barley sleep last night and right now they hiurt just typing any ideas? the pain is on the inside of my elbow and right were the tendon connects to were ur supposedly "funny bone" is

It sounds like you have a little inflammation in your tendons. Skull crushers are real hard on your elbows, as you should probably leave those alone for a while. In the meantime, take some Ibuprofen throughout the day and before your workouts to help with the inflammation.

I have sharp pains in my elbows constantly. Had alot of fluid and inflamation in my right a month ago. Had it drained twice but it just swells right back up with fluid again by the next day. Dr. took out 6 cc's both times. Wouldnt be too bad if the swelling wouldnt come back so quick.

I would suggest not injecting in the tris if your going to be working them hard that day, im sure stabbing a needle in the muscle your getting ready to obliterate at the gym would cause a little more pain.

I love skull crushers, but can't do them because of the pain in my elbows. Definately don't do them again for a while, and the glucosamine does help.

Also, if I am going to work out a body part that is usually sore, I take some ibuprofen before the work out to reduce the inflamation. I don't know how advisable this is, but for me it works. It allowed me to work through a bad case of tendonitis.

I have golfers elbow have tried cortisol injections but it hasn't worked very well, does anyone know what else can I try ?

I have bad pain in my back of elbow what I've done is buy those neoprene elbow supports and wear them for chest and tri's and if its bad back and bi days too! Getting old!lol

I would steer clear of tri inj.
Sounds like maybe it could've made the area already inflamed and then doing the new movement just put more strain on it. I'd take ibuprofen, ice the elbow for 20min twice a day, stretch the tri and see how it feels in about 4 days.

Last year I was doing a lot of overhead tri extensions . That and sckullcrushers can be very hard on the joints . The pain sounds very similar , its a very firey burning pain . Can be caused in the tendons like tendonitis . I would probably suggest laying off that exercise for a little while like maybe 2 weeks. Try other exercises and then go back to it and see if it healed/the pain went away . Also injecting the muscle very close by can cause this . Ive injected glutes before and had pain climb up into my lower back to the point I could hardly bent and move .
