Hey,

So i just ended a cycle of Tren Ace and Test E. I really didn't like the results. I'm almost certain that the gear was very under dosed. So much so that the supplier hooked me up with some new stuff at a very reduced price. Atleast he did that. Not to many would. Anyways I am about 2 weeks out now doing my post cycle therapy (pct) and I've noticed that i've put on 5 lbs since i stopped. Is this normal?? Mind you since i finished the cycle i have consciously made sure to eat a little bit more at every meal. My training has managed to be very strong. Any body else experience this. Makes me think the gear was even worse then i thought. Live and learn I guess.

This could be a number of different reasons my friend. Like what was your diet and training like during the cycle?

You are eating more now and this always has an impact. What was your goals during the cycle? Where you trying to cut?

Remember tren eats a lot of calories. Increased body temp, nutrition retention and then some.

Even if the test/tren was complete crap it was not effecting your gains and making them any worse. Like wise even if the test/tren was good and you were really cutting cals or not training/eating right then its of no use really.

What was diet and training like well on? What was your goal?

my diet is pretty amazing I think. I follow an eating plan of every 2 hours. My source of food is top notch. I'm an ex fine dineing chef which has proven to be very useful. My diet hasn't really changed from being on and off as far as quality goes, I've just been eating a little more hoping to compensate for any weight i may lose.

You make a great point about how much tren eats calories, and wow does it ever bring your body temp up. It was my first time using tren. I don't think I really took these things into consideration as much as I should have.

I was looking to put on 10-15lbs on the cycle, not really sure if that was realistic. I was told tren would put on dry hard weight if that makes sense. I should have done a little more research before. 6'4", 240lbs just under 10% BF, considering i'm looking to bulk the tren prolly wasn't my best option. next cycle will be anadrol, sust and deca. Thanks for your input.

240lbs just under 10% BF

4329 total cals a day
480 grams of protein ed for a total of 1920 cals
350g of carb ed for a total of 1400 cals ed

leaving 1009 cals or 112g of fat each day.

44/32/23/ Which is pretty close to a 40/30/30 Where you want to be in terms of protein/carbs/fat and the above cals ^^ for a good bulking diet well on test/tren or pretty much any cycle.

I know everyone always feels like they know they are on a good diet and they think they are eating enough. But how many people write it down and take a look at it.

write down your diet and see how it matches up to this one.

BTW Its always great to meet another Chef. I was a chef myself for 12-13 years. Did you go to college/trade school for cooking? Or self taught?

I went to culinary school here in Canada out on the west coast. Worked 7 years in the industry. Now I'm back in University getting my degree in Health Sciences.

As far as writing down my diet, I have in the past and try to once a month, just make sure i'm on track. I will try and do it a little more often that will def. keep me from slacking. If I want to put on the weight gonna have to put out the effort. Thanks alot for those numbers, I'll keep them in mind.

I do keep my training fairly simple, I do alot more compound lifts rather then cables. Maybe trying something different would be good. It's hard to change once your in a groove. I still get sore regularily and am getting results but still. I'll look into that.

Na the compound lifts are perfect for gaining weight. Focus on added weights to the bar.

Thats awesome man, good to hear you are advancing in your education.

I train a 5 day split,

1- Chest
2- Back
3- shoulders
off
4- arms
5- legs

Don't like that split at all. 4on/3off for bulking bro. You only grow when your resting.

Chest/biceps/calves
Back/traps/abs
Off
Legs
Deltoids/triceps/calves
Off
Off

Shit you can grow damn good on a 3 day a week m/w/f split like a 5x5 program too. I do like more rest days myself as well.

MWF works good too.

Lift till ya puke then eat till you ALMOST puke or puke a lil....lol

Now that how you fucking bulk up. And no 12 reps...lol 6-8 except for squats....kill em with massive weight then drop weight and do 50-60 squats, thats how u grow quads:)

If your in the gym more than 45 minutes on weight training...your doing something wrong. Like socializing...the gym is for working out and getting out to live life. I know because I've been perfecting my training for more than 30 years.

If you eat enough and got some good gear in ya 1-1.5 hours is no problem.

Look at all the pros that LIVE in the gym, you saying there doing something wrong bro?

I bring a shit load of food with me to the gym as well as my shakes dude.

If your eating a ton of food all day long and your on gear it's pretty hard to overtrain unless your doing a million reps....lol
