Endos who don't test for E2 levels while on TRT...........

Anyone here ever have an Endo that does not test E2 while administering TRT ?
I've met a couple of them so far and a G.P. that don't test E2 men. (and obviously treat)
For me that is a huge red flag.
There are so many dangers associated with elevated E2....
What do you guys think ?

Neither my GP or Endo ever tested estradiol in their TRT patients. I tested it myself and showed them the results. It came in high. I discussed it with my endo and he put me on arimidex. I was the first TRT patient he ever prescribed arimidex for -- probably the first male.

It just took a little educating and labs results on my part. They were receptive to it. Hopefully they check it now with their other patients.

Red flag, yes. But I think it is more important to gauge whether or not your doctor will listen to you and be willing to work with you. You have to be the biggest advocate for your own health and assuring positive outcomes.

There's an Endo who told me he won't prescribe ADEX. Told me to get it off my TRT doc...
Told him how much it helped me too...
Absolutely makes no sense.

Just means he doesn't want to listen or work with you. Move onto the next one. Plenty of docs out there. No sense in dwelling on it.

lol...you hit the nail in the head!
He was looking at the labs. 15 month baseline T (and on E3D ADEX....as you know) and he says the level is "normal".
Saw him 3 weeks ago...he said he would call me with script for clomid "in the afternoon"....that call never came.
I laid out what I was on with my TRT doc...this tells me he wants nothing to do with treating me.
I'm not going on clomid...but just tested him last week by email saying: "what happened to that script"?
He says: "Oh, I have not forgotten about you...I'll be in touch"...
Ya right!!! take care buddy!
3 weeks and no script?? what is this...rocket science ????
this is pure b.s.

He also mentioned about sending me to a Urologist who uses the Clomid in men....
Told him: "no....you prescribe it"...
Looks like he wanted nothing to do with treating a young guy. I found him really arrogant.
He says: "I don't want to prescribe Testosterone to mask something else that could be bothering you".
Ridiculous.

My G. P. Checks serum test only.... So far I have not seen a reason to have him check anymore. Feeling good, but...I know that won't last forever. We'll see what happens when I ask him to check estradiol
