Estrogen Overload

No one is talking about this. But if you ask me, it’s one of the biggest threats we are facing every single day. It sneaks up on you, slowly and quietly, and it happens when you least expect it. Today I’ll tell you what it is and show you how you can defend yourself with the same solutions that have worked for my patients. But first, I’d like you to think about what you did today. Did you use shampoo or lotion this morning? Did you drink out of a plastic bottle or cup? Did you eat lunch at the local burger joint? Did you touch a cash register receipt? If you did, you’ve been exposed! You can see the effects in people of every age. It’s causing impotence and cancer. It’s turning men into women… shrinking their manhood, giving them “man boobs” and increasing belly fat. It’s making women severely depressed and giving them dramatic PMS...

Estrogen Overload - Blog - Testosterone replacement & general men's health articles

This post sums up my biggest problem with the medical community today. They're all over blaming testosterone for so many side effects, but refuse to acknowledge it's the estrogen that always follows suit as the real culprit. I find it sad that the best information for guys trying to figure out their hormones and WHY they feel the way they do has to come from internet boards that carry a negative stigma due to this propaganda and misinformation. (No offense to my friends here, but it is true - you won't see a summation of phytoestrogens causing problems for us in an easy search on pubmed or google scholar!) In an attempt to still enjoy milk even after developing lactose intolerance (if you don't use lactase, you lose it) I made the switch to soy a loooong time ago. Little did I know that soy is one of the biggest offenders here when it comes to estrogen poisoning! Thanks to information by folks like yourself, I can enjoy almond milk without having to worry about it messing with my endocrine system.

I have so much to say on this as it really irks me that we live in a bandaid society when we can easily prevent a lot of what ails us by knowing the facts; but I'll just leave it at my wish that hopefully this kind of information will finally find its way to the mainstream media/medicine and we can stop this horrible travesty once and for all. Thank you for such a great post with information that I think EVERYONE should know about!

My .02c :)

Note: Another new avi! I do miss the smiley face though~ ;)
