F.B.I. Seizes Silk Road, an Online Drug Market, and Makes Arrest

I've been asked a few time over the years if I was the same guy. I've never been over on that site. I'm not into rec drugs. It sounds like he's fucked.
 
As soon as I read that this a.m. I thought about you and wondered since I haven't been here long time. But I wasn't going to post anything just in case. Thanks for your work here as I am sure it would have negatively affected the site if was you.
 
It's unusual for them to announce this. Usually they would keep it quiet and run down every lead and build as many cases as possible.

I think there are people in the Government who benefit from positive media coverage.

Rec drugs are a drag on society and destroy lives. I heard they were trading in illegal porn too. If thats the case then these people are just sick.

Silk Road was a deep web site wasn't it? Some sick stuff happens in the deep web.

I agree about rec drugs except for three:alcohol, marijuana, and some natural hallucinogenics like mushrooms and peyote. Just my opinion on those though. As for crack, meth, H and all that other garbage yeah it is terrible. Seen those physically addictive drugs destroy people.

Never said they were good for you, but they are not horrible for you either. Mild natural hallucinogens have been used in many different cultures to provoke deep thought and inner reflection. Marijuana has proven health benefits in many different areas, and as far as recreational use I would rather see people use that than harsh drugs with physically addicting properties. Alcohol has been and will be around forever. It is the worlds turn to stress reliever and having a few brews with the boys can be a good way to let loose on a weekend.

In the end anything can be heavily abused, some substances are WAY more likely to be abused than others. I also I think it is funny that out of the three I mentioned the one with the highest rate of addiction per user, and deaths related to is the only one that is a legally traded commodity in North America. Go figure.
 
SR did not allow illegal porn. Weapons and explosives were allowed for a while though. It was a decent site. Rec drugs can be used wisely just like steroids.

I've had the best experiences of my life while tripping on LSD. Hallucinogens can expand your consciousness, give you new insights, ideas etc. Why limit the experiences you can have during your short insignificant life? I also like taking some GHB instead of alcohol from time to time to relax or sleep. GHB saved my ass when I was suffering from trensomnia.

Just because some idiots get heavily addicted and fuck their lives up doesn't mean everyone is like that.

Unbelievable hypocrisy... As if using steroids was any different than using rec drugs.

SR was brilliant. The creator of that site was a HERO. Sure a fucking moron for getting caught the way he did but he did start a revolution. This can't be stopped. Tons of new sites will pop up.

Sure heroin, meth and that kind of stuff was sold on there. So what? If you don't use it don't buy it. That's how a free market functions. They also sold prescription meds and steroids for amazing prices. I got a years worth of cialis pills for a fraction of what this board's sponsors ask for it.

I agree with Blitz and Fly. Alcohol isn't my 'poison' of choice but marijuana and hallucinogens are far from being the worst things for you and they do have their uses. We push caffeine on people in PWO drinks and coffee and sodas and caffeine is easily more addictive than weed or hallucinogens, not to mention a host of side effects too. Advocating off-script use of steroids is no better than doing the same for painkillers, narcotics, and opiates lets not kid ourselves here.
 
that shits crazy i went on it once just because i heard all kinds of things and i just thought it was a scam but apparently not i remember they had like counterfeit money at like 60 cents on the dollar and all kinds of other things.
the thing is thought this guys going to get fucked but then the government is going to need his help and bam hes home free its when your not the top dog is when you really get fucked
 
local lab by me got taken down recently by state and local P.D. They were doing pretty good for a long while until they started with the prescription drugs. That's usually when it all comes crumbling down.....
