Chris - I was in debate at one time in running Nitrous on mine and decided against it -- I felt Meth was a better option in my opinion. I run a mixture 50/50 meth/water.

LOL, it's sitting at 9". For a truck it was fast at one time in my younger years. The axles are geared low and ran nitrous with the jets set at 75hp(It was a kit meant for a mustang GT). Was really big on taking it to the pismo dunes in CA.

No longer run nitrous as I scattered the motor and attribute it to the nitrous even though the kit was removed 6-8 months prior. So now motor wise it's back to stock. This was probably 7 years ago I think.
 
Jimbo -- What year is the WRX? I like them better most times - absolutely hate the newer body style though -- same with the newer mustang :( SRT's are cheap to mod though by comparison and I wanna say that they are actually a little lighter then then WRX. Did he say why he likes it better?

Boston -- a good friend of mine has an S2000. His is modded but nonetheless still a little fun car to drive
 
Man I drive sl500 amg v12 benz all the time for my stall to the paint booth..lol and Porsche lotus and even import u can think. But I drive normal cars.lol I have built 88 Gt buy everyone wanted to buy it and I sold it like a retard. And before I have four kids I have a bulky TL1000R I bought for a pro street racer.

I would rather buy me an ol school jeep CJ5 or CJ7 and fuck that thing up -- plus parts are cheap as shit - lol! You probably definitely have a pretty penny invested into that suspension - i know I would

Some parts are expensive but others are decently priced. Suspension is not very expensive either. Sure, parts are probably more than Jeep or Yota but they don't have the soul that a Landie does! Plus, Landies are so easy to work on - well, everything but the electronics! LOL! I can swap out an entire suspension in about an hour.

I have a 3" lift (springs), extended travel shocks, top and bottom spring retainers, heavy duty steering components, aircraft quality axle shafts that are pretty much unbreakable, Ashcroft CV's, sliders, etc. These things can do almost anything in stock form so imagine what they can do when you start adding stuff!

I used to have an old right hand drive 109" wheel base model - the kind you saw as a kid on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Top speed in that was 50mph but it was so much fun to drive!
 
No way I sell mine - I already know I'll never get the money back I invested into it. Hard to sell a modded car too because the buyer has to like all the same shit you do. I had some decent offers though - 75, 70, 65, and a measly 50K. I laughed at the 50K guy - I was like fuck no :squintfin , I have over 60 invested in just parts. The 75 guy started out at 65 and I said I was selling it. Then he said everyone's got a price, 75? I said nope. He just gave me a card and said call me if you change your mind in a week. My girl was def sure I was gonna let it go but I still have Caution ... fucking money pit is right. I just enjoy Caution waaaaaaay too much - the power and build is insane - Its LOUD (no cats on an X pipe) -- the attention the car gets is retarded too. I can't go no where in that car with out getting stopped for questions or comments, people taking picture of it, I go to the store and there is almost always some asshole trying to look in the windows. Umm ... you can't see in it - that's why its tinted 2.5% reflective. lol!

When you do, do things typically break? My uncle had a CJ and broke shit on a regular basis BUT cheap ass parts so he could care less.

I'd be SUPER PISSED if I even got a scratch on mine. The whole front end of Caution is a clear bra to avoid chips and scratches to the paint. If I get one scratch in the stripes then I'm fucked because they're a fortune to repaint because they're custom. Had it keyed once (before the bra) and ended up repainting the whole front end and motor. Motor is painted the same so I needed it too match - lol!

I used to go a lot but have been too busy being a single dad now that I am getting divorced. I have found that the more you baby them, the more things break. I ride her hard all the time but never put her away wet. Maintenance is key.
 
JOMO - 301 is some great power for a pro5 - how bad were you getting tire spin @ those numbers? My tranny is only one of a few parts that I haven't changed yet - still stock on that. I said I would change it when it broke and well ... its still holding up strong!!

I truly never had a proper tire to run on the car. But with azenis I was spinning till about 70mph on and off the throttle. I went through three 3rd gear shift forks, one stock lsd from the speed pro and then another welded lsd. Too much money being spent when I could have started on a better stock platform.
 
I'm not a fan of either, but a kid I know has a mazda speed 3 and puts up decent numbers at the track and it's only add-ons so far is an intercooler and downpipe.

And a buddy back in B.C just got rid of his 05 srt4..he had a stage 2 in it and some other goodies it dyno'd somewhere in the mid 300's..I can try and get pics of both cars.

The dude that had the srt4 now has a wrx and likes it more.

I do love the speed3 also, I am a mazda fan at heart. But the reason I always wanted the srt is how much it responds power wise to little mods. I have under a grand put into her mod wise and am more than happy of where its at. No dyno numbers but with the tune/mods I have I am quicker than a stage II car.

I am going to be running meth soon also. I am going with a coolingmist kit. With my 3bar map/tip sensor and the meth I will be able to spike/hold psi better throughout the rpms.

A buddy of mine here has a set of slicks to let me borrow but he's deployed right now. I would like to get some numbers at the track. I dont bench race so I am not going to guess times, anything is possible.

He likes the awd..it has quicker take off. Can't wait to see what he does to it too! I thought his srt was frickn fast. I was trying to find pics..but I'm sorting thru hundreds to find them, i will try again later.

Your srt looks so similar to his..maybe his was a bit lower..and some carbon fiber trim

Hmm ... you know I don't even think I have a pic of it completed - lol! I know I have some during the process though. Here is the intake and valve covers. I'm in Alabama right now and Caution is in Cali. Let me text my boy and see if he can swing by my place today or some time this week and take some.

What's the word on the 06? Color? Mileage? Manual or auto? Specs (mods)? details ... lol!

Got any pics? 11.94 isn't bad @ at - almost a 10 second car - lol! 10 second anything is fast in my book. You on pump gas? DR's? Nitrous, Meth? SC? Z28's respond decently to mods - you should have no trouble getting into the 10's.

Yeah fuck that shit - lol! No way I pull a wheelie with that kind of power - not intentionally anyway - ha! A buddy of mine use to always do that shit until his dumb ass fell off the back and bruised his tail bone at 90 miles hour. Yeah he never did it again.

Kaw zx-10r. 2010. Pc3, after market rear and front sprockets, full exhaust, minor engine mods, 1/3 throttle kit, and more. I got it dynoed at 198hp at the real wheel. I hit 110 in first gear ! Lmao but the rpms are a screaming. I smoked a busa with this bad boy. Prob cuz my bike is so light and I know how to ride. So much torque if you hit the throttle it will throw your Ass right off the back. Lol. Ride a power wheelie for miles and no poping of the clutch needed.
