Hey guys!
I am currently on a non-strict LCHF diet and I feel pretty good. Now I will also start adding one eating-day and one fasting day a week. On the eating day EVERYTHING is allowed, and on the fasting day I eat nothing. Intermittent fasting increasing natural levels of T, HGH, increasing insulne sensitivity etc is known to most these days, so I dont think I have to list all the benefits here.
However, I am on nebido thus my natural T production is =0. I was wondering how beneficial fasting is for me? Will I somehow still get higher T levels by fasting? Will I at least get the HGH boost? What benefits is there for me except for the obvious fatburning?
Also, some of you might wonder why the hell I have a eating-day and a fasting day while on LCHF, and if they simply wont counter eachother out.
When you are in ketosis and suddenly add loads of carbs your body will go WTF and dont know what to do with all this excess energy. However, if you workout hard in the gym that day, most of it will go straight into your energystarved muscles. Its called "anabolic diet" for those that did not know. You will be out of ketosis ofc, but you will be back in a day or two.
Thanks in advance guys!
