Feel kinda like Sickly when I start trt

I have been off and on trt for the last yr. I had to quit because I switched insurance. Anyways when I first started I was prescribed testim gel. A few days after taking it I felt kinda like I was getting a sinus infection or cold. It's hard to explain. I would have this stale smell in the air All the time and my throat and nose would kind of feel irritated. Again it's hard to explain the feeling. It's almost like a day or 2 before you catch a cold and you know you are getting sick. Or you Are going through a time of yr when allergies are bad. Anyways now I have switched to injections and I have the exact same thing happening again. I know got to do with the trt because this has happened before. What could be causing this? Does trt affect histamine levels? any one else feel this way or have any info? Thanks.

Do you aspirate? Have you tried SQ injections?
Could be from too much BA or BB in the testosterone.
May be allergic reaction to the oil.
May be to high of a dose of T.
Brew your own, lower the dose, try another oil, try another ester, a lot of things you can try..

To answer your question I get it prescribed by the doctor. I dont inject myself the nurse does it every 2 weeks. Also the type of test was test cyp. I think I may have figure out what the prob may be. I thnk it may be the "test flu". From the small amount I've read it sounds pretty common. From what I understand it's an immune response to the foreign substance ( the test) and sends white blood cells to attack it not unlike what happens with pollen allergies. Has anyone experienced this. If so how long does it usually last? Also do you think some sort of antihistamine would help if it is test flu?

I have used or use Testim, Testogel and Nebido(injections) and i had alot of other problems but not what you describe. Good luck!
