can anyone tell me if methyl hydrate can be used to dissolve tren pellets? I heard of people using acetone as well. I"m new to this home brew stuff.

I honestly have no idea, but I do know that Benzyl alcohol works well, and is easily obtainable.

Go to your local automotive store/supplier and purchase "HEET" in the slim yellow plastic bottle. Just make sure that it only contains acetone and NO OTHER compounds. Good luck!

HEET contains methanol....not acetone. Heet will work well.

I use diethyl ether, the binders aren't soluble in it but they are in methanol. It makes the filtering much easier.

I don't know where you could buy ether at .... do a search maybe you'll get lucky.

Problem is that diethyl ether is extremely flammable and if you don't have good ventilation you are going to blow yourself up.

I'm in a lab so that's why I use ether.
