Finally squat is stuck... now what

Well after about 2 months of packing on pounds on my squat I finally got stuck yesterday. Went for 5 got 4 and about a 1/4.
So what should I do now?
Switch to box squats until I get stuck with those and try back at regular squats starting at a slightly lighter weight than I got stuck on.
Or keep squatting and just reduce the weight and work my way back up at it.
Or should I try busting out some bands and stuff and see if that helps a bit.
Any other suggestions?
I'm pretty sure this is about to happen with my bench and deadlift was well as they are getting pretty difficult to get my 5 reps every other week. After adding 5 pounds to the bar.
Thanks for the input.

Figure out what muscle is holding back your squat, and quit squatting, instead do box, squats, box squats with bands, good mornings, safety bar squats, pin pulls, and other barbell movements that utilize the same muscles used when squatting. And I don't mean ALL those lifts at the same time. One is fine.

Then do accessory work for the weak muscle that is holding back your squat. ALLWAYS focus on heavy ab work, and hamstrings.

Alternatively you could take a week or so off and start with 10's then 8's then 5's 3's etc. In other words traditional progressive resistance. and again targeting the weak muscle with accesory work. I like option one, bot both methods are proven.

IA has some good advice..variation is what you need...

where are you failing?

Box Squats are great
i havent tried these in a long time but pause squats may help you as well..

I failed at parallel. Then sunk back into the hole and dumped the bar on the pins.
I figure I'm going to change to doing box squats at 5 reps. I'll see if the bands the gym does have will work they are the kind with the plastic handle so I don't know if they'll fit on the bars. If so I'll up the reps to 10.

i would try some pause squats..try them light first until you get the hang of em..

descend into your squat and pause at the bottom for a solid 3 count then come up.. :)
