First cycle: GP test cyp only (with pics)

Yo cats, comrades, ladies, etc. ,

It's my first cycle, and I'm pretty stoked. After two years of reading into it, I decided I'd step into the dark side. Against my own wishes, I decided on taking the wealth of advices archived in this and countless other forums and start with a simple cycle of T.

Week 1-12 500mg Test c
week 14-18 PTC (clomid)

I have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) on hand.

I had my first injection today. No problem. I was surprised at how small the vials are. Somehow I thought they'd be larger. Also, (test cyp 250, 10mg vial) after filling syringe to first unit, it doesn't look like there would really be 10 shots in one vial. Oh well. I'll take the label's word for it.

I did have minor PIP, as well as an odd taste in my mouth that lingered for a few moments. Oh, I forgot to aspirate. Won't happen again.

These photos were taken this evening. I look soft because this past month I've been drinking way too much beer. My friend from out of state was visiting me, and...yeah, just too much beer. I'm cutting alcohol completely out of my diet, however, for this cycle.

I went to the grocery store today to stock up for my bulk (I'm starting Monday). The store had buy 1 package of steaks, get 2 free. Holler. Bought 6.

Here's what my diet will look like. Sub chicken/meat with any protein I have on hand, be it turkey, chx, or beef

What are your stats and training history like?

You'll want to use that Aromatase inhibitor (AI) from day one all the way up until you start post cycle therapy (pct). Too late to get pre cycle bloods but get mid cycle and post cycle blood work. You'll want HCG while on cycle as well, 250iu 2x weekly. And add Nolva to the clomid for pct.

I am sorry in advance for this, but I left out the above because of my budget. I am already saving for my next cycle, though, so I'll be sure to be more exhaustive next go around. As far as the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) is concerned, I've read that it is only necessary upon the advent of estrogen related sides, unless on a heavier cycle. Bloating is not something I'm too concerned about. The gyno, however, is, but again, unless I see signs of it occuring, I am abstaining as I've read it can inhibit growth.

My stats. 27 years old, 180 pounds, 12 percent body fat. Well, actually I might be up to 14 percent after this last month of partying haha. I've been training seriously for 5 years or so. I had bouts of cross country truck driving, where I'd go months without hitting the gym, but for the last year, since I've quit, I've been at it and plan on never hitting the road again.

Currently I lift 3x a week. Pulling/pushing/chest and shoulders . the rest of the week I do an hour of cardio followed, sometimes, by abdominal and calf exercises. I also train in BJJ 3-5x a week.
 
I also want to add that Nappy's customer service is astounding.

They credited the incorrect amount of money to my account on their website. I sent in a ticket. Money was credited back in 5 days.
They shorted me a vial. I sent in a ticket. Vial is currently being processed for shipment.

You should have waited to inject until you got everything on hand, you're only risking your own health and recovery by not doing so.

Yes, an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) is needed upon elevated estrogen and/or sides but exogenous/excess testosterone will aromatase and elevate estrogen levels, especially at 500mg/wk of testosterone. Until you get bloods done and can verify normal E2 levels an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) should be required. There are many other sides of E2 besides gyno and bloat, think very high blood pressure for one, so use it for your own good. Lack of estrogen will hinder growth NOT control of estrogen.

I would say you're a little higher than 14% but your diet looks pretty decent, if your total calories and TDEE are on point. Good luck with the cycle and please for the future, take the extra time to get everything so you can do the cycle properly :)

I agree with you 100 percent.

My BF was 12 percent 60 days ago, but a lot can happen and did happen in 60 days haha. Thanks for your help, Mr. Dre
 
Will be good to watch your progress. You will need to be proactive and guard against gyno.
Stay off the booze and your diet will make this a good run for you.
 
PIP fucking sucks. I attribute this wholly to the injection site, rather than the gear. There's a lot of shit in 'em quads. I'm going for delts next.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing your results. Especially if you eat a pretty clean diet throughout. It would be the step I take once I decide to do so. Except, I will use the Aromatase inhibitor (AI), HCG, clomid and nolva even if it takes me a year to accumulate it all. Haha. I'm scared!

Your too fat for a cycle - lean down to 10% then go for it ; if you bulk now you will only get fatter and you'll lose sight of all your progress because it we'll be covered by a layer a fat . I know , because I wasted alot of $$$ because I was cycling when I was 20-25% bodyfat . Your NOT 12% bodyfat . Go to "Army Fat Calculator".com and come back and tell us what it said your BF was.....~Bo

Sorry to have to use the F word (fat) but I"m telling you what I was told after being disappointed by my first couple of cycles . Finally I leaned down to 8% BF (without gear) and was much more pleased by my body . Hook-up with 3J here and he'll have you looking like a bodybuilder . ~Bo

I think I'll b okay; I've bulked natty from similar body comps and had good results. I lean out pretty quickly when I shape up my diet.

So I got impatient and thought I'd just get it over with, so I bought a larger syringe and just emptied the 10ml vial into it. Major PIP, but YOLO, amarite?

Just kidding.

Bulk starts Sunday. Tomorrow I cook. Just on here to show off my freezer ATM.

I think he might actually lean out on his diet (clean)and cycle. He looks like he drinks a lot of beer (belly & tits) but if he cleans that out of his cycle, I bet he gets leaner.

My money is that he will continue to get fatter , he would have to cut calories to get leaner, and hes raising them ....like I said earlier , address the central obesity BEFORE CYCLING (live&learn) ~Bo
 
i think obesity might be a stretch; I'm a 32 inch waist.

PIP still sucks

I will certainly gain some fat, but I shed fat very rapidly with simple life style changes. I'm not worried about it.
