Wanted to check in, seems like I just have no time to post some days and others I can just lay around for hours reading and replying.. Anyway, I swear I can tell this Test is in me.
I'll back up for a second, and explain that I completed Week 4's injections this week with a R Quad inject. May have hit a nerve, leg twitched a little and I'm having very minor bouts of soreness in random spots up and down that muscle strands general vicinity. Nothing major, just like to be aware of things and keep notes so if anything did come up, I have notes of signs and symptoms leading up to. I will add that I did legs that evening anyway so it wasn't that bad right?
My workout went great that evening. I had actually taken Wednesday off and combined Shoulders and Legs on Thursday. This always works well for me, gives me a little extra food prep time in the middle of the week, and I love the intensity the combo brings to the table. When I combine my workouts, I don't pussy out and do them back to back, set after set until I've completed 8-10 exercises split evenly between the muscle groups.. Oh no. When I combo, I do super sets on everything. Squats to Military Press, Lateral Raises to Leg Ext., Front Raises to Leg Curl, and Shrugs to Calf Raises. This day wasn't just a normal double workout for me though. I took rest between my SS's of Squats and Press', but 0 rest between the other SS's. Back and forth until I was wrenched. Excellent workout, recommend anyone to try it.
Now, back to the TEST!
Yeah... it's been < 0 degrees this week, and below freezing for many weeks now. Meaning it's incredibly dry, and the factory I work in, is very dry. I, however am very oily. This is not usual, I tend to dry out just like anyone else during harsh winters. Sign 1.
I've been developing acne, little bouts here and there. Arms, back, face, even my thighs some. Nothing more than 1-2 at a time. Keeping an eye on that, may have to shower more than once a day if it gets a lot worse. Sign 2.
My training hasn't been like this since... idk 15 y.o. I don't think I reported anything about my back day, but it was just loads of volume and was just beautiful. Haven't had a single problem jumping back onto a machine or bar within 45 seconds of the prior movement. This, the additional sets/reps, and my focus this week are leading me to believe I am feeling it somewhat in the gym right now. I can only imagine what it will be like toward the end of week 6 or 7. Sign 3.
Still eating the same amount of food, which used to kill me. I'd be shoveling and just feel like I could never eat it all everyday and truly have to push through and force myself to. Now, I'm getting hungry before I go to eat again. Same food, different appetite. Sign 4.
Morning wood, every morning, even after sex the night before. Sign 5? Who knows
Stretch Marks on my Lats, pretty dark ones too. I like that. Means somethings growing in there and fast. Sign 6.
Also, I should share a little information with you about my progress before I skip out. Last Thursday I was oh... 196-197lbs. That's 13-14lbs over Christmas break. Coming off break, and going back to work my co-workers were like "you look big as fuck", "you look very beefy".. Felt good, but I knew I was bloated to all hell at the same time. This Thursday I made a nice comeback, shedding some of that Christmas bloat off and starting Thursday morning off at 190lbs even. Was happy to report that number and it feels amazing to be back.
