first cycle - test cyp only or test/eq????

about to start my first cycle. i will be posting another thread to get all of my anti-e and post cycle therapy (pct) questions firmed up. i have test cyp 300 mg and i have eq 200 mg...my options are: 1. 10 weeks test 300 mg per week plus anti-e and then post cycle therapy (pct) OR 2. same as above plus 14 weeks equopois 200 mg per week.

i am 35, 8-10% bf, 5"11, 180 lbs, been lifting forever, eating clean 6 times per day.

how much weight can i expect to gain with each option? how much can i expect to retain which each option? i am taking propecia for hair loss. how much worse can the hair loss be if i add the eq?

i appreciate your help!!!
 
Just go with the cypionate...

Eq isn't too bad on the hair line for most, but since it's your first cycle it's just not necessary right now. In addition, 200mg/wk would do very little anyhow.
 
Is 300 mg going to be enough per week? Is ten weeks going to be enough? What can I expect as a reasonable range of weight to gain during my cycle? And what can I expect to keep afterwards on my test only cycle?

Please provide as much feedback as possible on these questions and my original questions. Thank you!!

Absolutely. 300mg/wk of Test is great for a first timer. How much you gain and what you keep will depend on many factors, your diet, your training, etc...

lots of discussion on this in the sticky. im still going to recomend 500mg/week. 250 or 300mg for me personally never did much at all.

this guy is an experianced lifter who is probobly stuck at his upper limit in lean body mass. i dont think hes really going to be happy with 5lbs of lbm netted.

in the sticky someone posted "300 works for some, but 500 works for everybody"

i will say however that in addition to gains, the sides from 500mg test are much stronger. on 250 a week my skin is clear and dry i have little to no bloat and sex drive is low/normal.
on 500 i break out, bloat up so i need letro, and sex drive is strong enough to get hardons from washing dishes.

so its up to you buddy, do you want little real gains while dealing with all the same post cycle therapy (pct) and shots and illegality? Or do you want to gain 10+lbs of lbm while fighting very moderate side effects?
 
I second what warmachine said. Both amounts will shut down your natural test production, go with 500mg and get some nice gains. Its your first cycle make it count. Make sure you take in alot of clean quality calories and train hard and heavy. By week six you'll be planning your second cycle.

this being said, more is not necesarily better. as I stated above i get NO sides with 250mg/week and very noticable sides on 500. i have never tried above 500 as i dont want to turn into a pizza faced blimp.

finally the letro is kicking in and deflating me...whew i hated what i looked like the last couple days.
 
ok...so how about a compromise? 300 mg test and upping eq to 400 mg? that way i don't have to be scared i'm starting off with too much test but i'll still get better gains than only on test? what are your thoughts?
 
you dont have to be scared, just have the necessary drugs on hand to combat side effects. you will need to have them anyway...

i have no experiance with eq so i cant help ya there.

Most people will say test only for first cycle. But I don't think 300 test and 400 eq would be a bad idea. I but I don't think the side effects of 500mg of test are anything to be scared of. Just have some nolva or Aromatase inhibitor (AI) on hand.
 
i am thinking more eq will lean me out a little whereas more test would bloat me too much...my main aim is to get more lean and my secondary aim is to put on size...so that is another reason i'm thinking of increasing eq and keeping test and 300...comments???? thank you!!

The Eq isn't going to 'lean you out'. Diet will determine whether you lean out or not while cycling.

A low/moderate test cycle with an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) will keep bloat to an absolute minimum. Any possible bloat at 300-400mg/wk would be minimal anyhow...
