first cycle test/eq

started this cycle on the 12th.

qy test enth 500/week
qv eq 400/week

starting weight was 204 im up to 214 right now.

stats: 5ft11, 214, 14% bf, training for 5 yrs. 23 yrs old

ill keep eveyone posted on the progress. i got shoulders tonight.
 
shoulders went really well tonight. my strength is up a bit since a couple weeks ago. pyramid military presses at 225x5, 235x5, 245x3, attempted 265 but couldnt get it, then dropped down to 225x8 assisted and 135x15. then hit some drop set side lats 40-25s. finished off with reverse pec dec for rears. overall good workout, shoulders were deff pumped. cant wait for the test to really kick in!! arms tommorow. later
 
well weight is up again to 214. had arms tonight. preacher curls, hammers, and cable curls for bis. then hit tris with overhead db extensions, pushdowns, and finished up with machine dips. during this cycle id really like to bring my arms up. theyve always been the laging body part. theyre not small but i have a big frame. well ive been putting on a little fat to where i cant see my abs anymore. going to start cardio 3 times a week in mornings before breakfast. maybe jump rope and run. other than that alls good. ive got thurs, friday off and hit chest on sat ill let yall know how it all goes.

today was legs. strength was up a bit. did squats at 225x8, 275x2, 275x2, 295x2, 305x2. then finished up with leg presses and extensions. weight is at 212.
 
weight is at 213. had back tonight. pulldowns got up to 250x8 not bad. db rows 110x10 for 3 sets, chest supported t-bar rows at 135x10 for 3 sets, finished up with machine 1 arm pulldowns. next week im going to start deads again (hell yeah!!). i just added a beefer shake to my diet since ive been stuck at 213. 2 cups whole milk, 4 scoops protein, 1 bannana, 1 carton plain yogurt, 2 tblsp peanut butter, glutamine. comes out to...1365 cals, 50g fat, 102g protein, 232g carbs. i sip this throughout the day. ive got shoulders tommorow well see if ive improved.

i would lay offf the running and any high speed cardio it will cut into your gains . try cutting calories SLIGHTLY while upping protein and dropping carbs a little as well along with some walking 3-4 times a week for 20-40 minutes
 
weight today is at 214. i can allready notice my body changing. im looking much more full. shoulders today was good. i started off the workout slow, i just couldnt get pumped but towards the end my shoulder were fuked. military press at 225x5, 235x5, 255x3 assisted and 225x5, 225x5. side laterals with 30x10, 35x10, 30x10. cable side lats 20x10. after this they were pumped. then finished up with reverse pec dec for rears. next week will be week 4 so hopefully this shit will kick in.
 
still at 214 damnit. well arms were destroyed tonight. straight bar curls with 55x10, 85x10, 105x8, 105x8 hammer curls 40x8, 45x8, 45x8 dropset to 35x6 cable curls. for tris close grip bench at 135x20, 225x8, 225x8 pushdowns and then tri extension machine. tris had so much blood in them it felt a cramp. i started doing my deadlifts after arms now beacause i cant do them the day after leg day with the rest of back. deads at 225x10, 315x8, 315x8 this is light for me but i was pretty exhausted after arms.
 
weight is 215. chest today. my workout partners mom passed away so he wont be here for a while. did incline smith machine presses 225x5, 225x5, 275x5, 285x4, 295x3. bench press machine. and then incline db press 65x10, 65x10, 65x10. tried to hit up pec dec but my shoulders were bothering me so i finished up with some abs and calves. if i had a spotter i think i could have done more weight so i think this test is kickin in. its week 4 now. the only sides im getting is acne, no bloat that i can tell and no signs of gyno.

thats a decent deadlift bro some improvement there and your will have a very respectable deadlift indeed . one thing about deadlift theres no bouncing it , help from spotters , quarter squats , etc. like on everyones posted bench and squat numbers , :) its just you and the bar and you either pull it or you dont .
 
ive always been a strong puller. my max when i was 196 and natty was 450. what do you mean by a quarter squat? also are straps and a belt allowed for the lift to count? i always use strict form on my lifts though.
 
Hes not talking about competition you nutsac, he's talking about bitches padding there "I lifted this much weight," claims. Dumbass.j/k F u and your healthy back.

belts are legal straps are NOT legal .
im talking about guys claiming to squat x amount of weight but when you watch them they are only going down 1/4 of the way instead of to parallel . those kind of false claims are harder to make with deadlift due to the nature of the lift .
quit useing those straps and your grip strength will come up fast , you will be ready for a deadlift competition in no time :)
 
still at 215, had back tonight. t bar rows at 90x10, 135x10, 180x5, 205x5. hammer strength lat pull down at 90x10, 135x10, 180x8, 180x8. seated cable row at 180x10, 180x10. finished up with regular lat pull down at 220x6, 220x6 then abs and calves. i still dont have a spotter so im not going as heavy as i can but i felt really strong today. the test is deffinitly kicking in. this is f-ing awesome!!
