First Dirty Aspiration.

Well i just got my first dirty Aspiration before i injected... I was wondering why does this even happen, like why is there no blood most the time and then blood this one time... This is the end of my 6th week pinning 2x a week and have never got a dirty one.

When you do get a dirty one do you actually have to ditch the test? I did becasue i was unsure and wanted to be safe... and i used a new needle and syringe... I dont know if all this is needed but once again, wanted to be safe... But for the future, did i do the right technique.

Thanks a bunch

Mike

wut did u fill up ure whole sringe with blood? u aspire a little and the first sign of red u stop. no need to throw out ure juice. usually i'd say to send it to me, but in this case yuck

it always weirded me out the thought of reinjecting my own blood. i probably would have tossed it too, but i also have enough that i can do that.

hahaha no i didnt fill the whole syringe. I did stop at the first sign.. i didnt know that it was fine to re inject... Hey better safe than sorry if u ask me... Now i know for next time!

Thanks Guys

Proper nursing technique states to start with a new syringe and medicine. Reason for this is that if you aspirate a second time with a syringe that already has blood in it it will be hard to tell if you have hit a blood vessel a second time or not.

Makes sense, and should probably follow that technique. But....

I'm extremely confused why you would throw out your gear because you were afraid to inject blood into your muscle. were you afraid you'd get aids? lol

LOL

It's happened to me. Shit if the blood came from you wtf's the difference if you put it back inside where it belongs? .01-.02mL and who cares right? Unless you're sitting there aspirating pulling in a mL of blood hahahA. Some funny ass shit comes up on these boards

Yes this is possible and then try again with a new needle (since needles get dull fairly easily). But this is dependent on how much blood comes into the syringe and what your using. With suspension or water based substances I am assuming the blood will be more dispersed and harder to remove with that method.

This is your OWN blood, nothing would happen if you reinject it. That happened to me when I was injecting GH localy in my shoulders ( you can pin Getropin IM and sub Q because of its nano molecular technology) and I pined it again in my other shoulder. I dont think if it would be hard to tell if you are in the right spot to pin with blood in the syringe. You only have to aspire more air CCs and hold it for more for like 2 seconds. This way you will have no problem even if there is already blood in the syringe. But I agree with changing the needle. why would you waste your gear AND your blood. LOL

change the needle and push a tad bit no blood should ever b left snd repin but yuck never use the same needle thats so fuckin unsanitary!!! thats how u get an infection or an absess get one of those and see if u dont change needles anymore!

Water based would mix with the blood and you wouldn't see it after you shook it a bit.
