First Quad Pin.....HOLY SH*T!

So from what I can tell from that video is I hate that spot and it hurts like a bitch. Ill see if I can make this make sense to you through words. I injects into the Vastus Lateralis but basically on the side of it about one hand width down from the top of your femur bone. If you flex it you will notice the big slab off beef on the side of your leg near the front of the muscle it should be raised up a bit the dip down a bit then raise up again on the side of your leg, that's the spot one hand width down from where I said. I like to do it sitting with my leg straight out and heel propped up on a chair or whatever, that takes all tension off the quad. Does that make sense at all??

Everything Shredder said, but id like to add 1 thing (cuz i had trouble first couple of times myself). Everytime I pinned quads, use to have same problem. I watched a video that showed if you put the pin on the leg and pinch the meat while twisting pin side to side, pin will enter on its own. Since ive done this, pip is virtually non existent (even with test prop). The more you pin your quads, the better it gets.

I have noticed at times when I get the pin in and start plunging, my leg would spasm sometimes. When that happens, I pull the pin, re-tip it, and pin the other leg. Then go back to other leg next time around.
 
For some reason I get the spasms bad on my left side. I'm left handed and left quad, delt, bicep, and trap all seem to be a little more sensitive...weird I know. Just wondering if there are any other lefties who notice this?

I'm right handed and noticed that my right thigh and delt always tend to bleed a little post shot, but the left counterparts rarely bleed.
 
Ya Im a big fan of quads, I think weve talked about this one before. But, I cant even go near glutes anymore, just a terrible painful scene it is every single

time. Honestly, my favorite of anything as of late is lats bro, never hurts, never bleeds, no pip EVER, its a win win.


I just started pinning lats as well, definitely one of my favorite spots now.
 
I tried quads a few times and hurt like hell every time...
Maybe ill give quads another shot next week
 
Pip is the same every time in glutes. Smooth at first and golf ball a few days after. I to pinned in quads for the first time this past week and went so easy. The next day I thought about chewing my leg off it hurt so bad! The injection point never hurt but swelling went directly down the muscle that was pinned to my knee, continued to swell and hurt for three days, even had a bit of red by swelling but no infection.
I am really glad you posted this. I woke up this morning (48 hours after pin) and my leg is more sore than it was yesterday! My left quad is swollen, I can't flex it at all, merely bending my leg feels like I am getting hit with a bat, it is warm to the touch, and the skin is red all down my quad. Injection point still doesn't hurt or look any different, but from the site down to my knee is sore as hell. I am walking like I have polio. This morning I saw a set of stairs at work and it almost sent me into a nervous breakdown. Lol.

I am a righty and never have issues with my right side. Everything bad happens on my left.
 
It doesn't hurt much ever while pinning but no matter where I shoot the PIP afterward and the amount it swells and balls up is unreal, very painful to sit down and even sometime touch, I remember when I first started gear way back it was never an issue but seems as of late its just brutal, too much to take to be honest, and Im not one to wuss out on anything, but its that bad, lol.

My first couple glute pins a few years ago hurt like a mofo....but it was T400 and obviously that was awful. I basically never have much PIP after a glute injection. I know people say that pinning a certain spot does not make that spot grow more than others, but I swear when I am on cycle and pinning glutes, my ass goes straight JLO status. Rock hard and shelf like.
Any pointers on the level of PIP I am experiencing? I am one to tough through anything, and am guessing no amount of stretching it or heat or ice will do anything? I am seriously walking like a Polio patient with no crutches. My buddy calls it the Anabolic Shuffle. Lol.

So I hired an interpreter and was able to establish the location of this spot.

I did however just pin 2ml trenbolone acetate in my left quad and 1ml Sustanon in my right quad. If I'm crippled and/or hideously disfigured tomorrow, I'll be on a flight over to Schredder's home town to hunt him down and run him over in my wheelchair.

Care to run me through how you do the lat injection Schredder?

Ok, so you need a mirror, face the lat your gonna pin at the mirror, put the needle in the other hand, take the arm thats facing the mirror and grab the elbow of the opposite arm (the one that you have the needle in it) and pull it towards the lat your gonna pin. Once its in position relax the shoulder above the lat your pinning, doing this will take the tension off the lat. Pin in the upper part of the lat, the wider part that has more meat to it, straight in. Do not pin it if its not relaxed. Make sense Ben?!
 
So I have done several cycles, always pinning glutes. Yesterday I decided to mix my quads into the rotation. I am in week 4 of a cycle of 600mg of Test Cyp and have had very minimal PIP in any glute pin so far. Pinned my quad yesterday and today feel like I got leg kicked by Forrest Griffin! 23G 1" pin and went slow as hell. I have had some rough PIP before but usually with Test400 and such. Not here to bitch....just wondering if the quads are more sensitive regarding PIP or what. It is AML gear and like I said....had no problem in the glutes at all. Thanks for any input.

I'm agreeing w shredder BUT I go in from top. I love pinning quads. I can see everything, use both hands and see it very well. I think grabbing then injecting slowly and letting go is the key.

not directly on the top, but i hit the ridge that pops .out when i flex. i go for the peak of it,
 
I pinned Pharm grade gear in my quads all the time. AML gear only in the gutes. For me AML is too painful for the quads. Maybe because it is double strength? Switched to glutes and all is well with AML.
 
Pinned right glute yesterday and on a scale of 1-10, PIP is a 1....yet my left quad is still a 3-4 on that scale, sore and swollen. I think i'll stick with glutes. Lol.

It's now my favorite spot. Painless pin, easy to aspirate, no PIP. I use one inch 25 gauge pins. I also only inject .5 to .75 each shot so that may help. I'm not injecting like 3cc.

Sounds like mine. I am not sure how you ever went back to try it again, my man. I don't think I could ever chance this level of crippling PIP again!

just tried this spot for the first time yesterday afternoon. it's a little lower than i usually pin. must have passed through like 4 veins and i felt every one of them lol. pulled out and blood projectile gushed out and stained my sheets haha. had to hold a cotton ball to it for a couple mins. now, the next day i can hardly get up a flight of stairs haha.

moral of the story....everyone's body is different and what works for one, may not work for another....just gotta keep tryin till you find YOUR sweet spot. i'll give it another try tho before i throw it out the window lol.
